  Open letter to Jehovah's Witnesses

  i was looking up my old hard copies that i printed out through the years from jwd, and came across this powerful post by "outaservice".. it is an open letter written by a "gaila noble" from arizona.

  it was posted on january 30, 2002 by outaservice, and he gave me permission to copy/paste it into a new thread, for the benefit of all the newbies and others who have never seen it.

  thanks, outa.. hope this works.. you may not remember, but i know you very well.

  to make a long story short i work with one of my old friends who happens to be a ms. we often get in discussions about witnesses and i have got him too admit that i am right about somethings in the past.

  i think he has looked into some of the things we have talked about and found that i am right but he just kinda dismisses them.

  anyway here is the deal.

  Anybody have a three year old??? HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!

  i have a 3 year old girl, and she is wild... she has recently started completley disobeying, talking back, slamming doors, spitting at me etc.

  it is getting miserable to go anywhere because she throws fits, runs around resturants screaming.

  at dance class, her teacher had to send her off the floor because she was the only kid running around and woud not listen.

  If your not a spanker, you will have to put up with it. It won't do any good just to give a couple of spats. Soon as they learn who's boss , they won't look forward to a good spanking. Went through that with my Son.

  i think they used to believe that germany was the kng of the north.

  what is their official take on that.

  btw does the rev grand climax book talk about that ?.

  They would like for you to believe that has a fullfillment for the time we are living in but I don't think so. The King of the North that the Bible speaks of is Babylon. Anyway that is my guess.

  How cute, what little ones can come up with! Had a friend [when I was in that cult]whose little girl ask her grandmother if she could have a certain whatknot when she died. Her grandmother said yes. The little girl said"Do I have to give it back when your ressurected?" I think she was like 4 years.

  i know that sometime, somewhere the gb has claimed to be "jehovah's channel of truth" and given divine knowledge/revelation directly from angels.

  could someone please provide me with some quotes?.

  i'm speaking with a jw right now who says they don't care if the gb has made changes/mistakes in doctrine in the past because it's "old light".

  Don't know if this will help but the Watchtower, May15,1930 said "How do we know if one's a true or false prophet? True prophet will not be sounding forth man made guesses, either his own or others." Also the Watchtower June1, 1965 stated "Jehovah appoints GB members. Organization is under the direction of Jehovah himself." You might tell him the July1, 1973 Watchtower stated "Would your conscience permit you to share in producing weaponry? Then tell him to go to "search" and type "Watchtower Society and Warfare Tech." This shows the Watchtower Society owns 50% of a company that makes War weapons.
