Jookbeard, I can shoot a hole in your belief. Can you or any of the other JWs on here show me how you can get 607 for the desolation of Jerusalem using 624 for King Neb. 1st year to rule. The Bible at 2Kings 25 :8-9 says it was King Neb. 19th year when Jerusalem was desolated. I don't expect to hear from any of you because you can not prove it.

Chalam, "that THEY be one as We are one." If you mean that to prove God and Jesus are one person then "THEY"(men) would have to mean we would all have to become 1 person so only 3 persons here. I think Jesus meant, his followers would be united in the same thought and deeds. I am no longer a JW but I do believe God and Jesus are 2 different persons. Watchtower Society is a fraud. They have more lies than the truth.

King James says at John 17:11"And now I am no more in the world,but THESE are in the world,and I come to thee. Holy Father,keep through thine own name THOSE whom thou hast given me, that THEY may be one as we are. If you read verse 6, "THESE and THOSE" are the men that JESUS's Father has given him.

Been out about 5 years and went to pioneer school 2 years with my Daughter-in-law. Her and my Son left first. Wanted them back in so was going to prove to them Watchtower Society was right and they were wrong. Done a lot of research and found out WS was a fraud.

History says 605 was Neb. 1st year. 605 1st year-18 more years=587.

I need some assistance!
by lepermessiah ini have been posting on here this week, and all i can say is this has been the best form of therapy!
there are some amazing people on here, many who have been through the same thing, if not much worse.
there are so many of you that i would love to converse with, but understand why this format is for the best at this time.. i am in the early stages of breaking the chains that bind, and i need some suggestions on reasoning on these 2 points.

lepermessiah, First go to Acts 2 verses 16-17. The last days begin in 33C.E. Hebrews 10 verses 24-25 the day drawing near was the one for the early Christains and it ended in 70 C.E. The good news was preached before the end came. Matthew 24: 19-20 was also fullfilled before the end came. The whole chapter of Matthew was fullfilled during the generation of the early Christains. Read Matthew 24:34. And Jesus said at Matthew24:21 there would not be another great tribulation. The great tribulation fell in 70 C.E. The Watchtower Society says there is a greater tribulation but Jesus never said that. Who do you want to believe ? Jesus or WS?
