armageddon, fred franz and the year 2000 - questions
by Aussie Oz ini have read that fred franz said armageddon would come by/in 2000.... been through search and the cd library but other than quotes of how bad the world will be by then, i cant seem to find anything.. any help?.

Memorial
by roadrunner4speed infor those unaware the memorial has no scriptural basis.
of the 12 men at the last passover not one of them ever said or wrote jesus said "do this in remembrance of me" matthew said jesus blessed the bread and wine and gave the bread and wine to his apostles.
we have paul saying jesus said those words and the writting of luke which everyone needs to read and find out what's missing in his account.

Maninthemiddle, John 6 :51 "I am the living bread which came down from heaven, if any man eat of this bread, he shall live forever." Like you said, Jesus or those who were with him at the last meal never said to keep doing this and now I am thinking it is not nessary. Thanks for bringing this out.

JW's are taught the 144,000 do not need a resurrection, yet Jesus said at John 6:54 "Who ever eats my flesh and drinks my blood, has eternal life and I will resurrect him in the last day. Verse 58 of chapter 6, Jesus said the ones who do this would live forever. The Watchtower Society teaches lies.

Don't ask questions
by linp24 inseveral weeks ago, a witness poster said that the rank and file at his cong were told by elders not to ask questions.
i may have misunderstood what the poster was saying.
has anyone on the forum heard anything like this?
