Has God preserved His word today?
by JW Answers inhas god preserved his word today?
many people attack, doubt and fault god's word.
yet god has made several promises in his word.he promised to preserve his word unto every generation,he promised that every word would be truth,he promised that we can rely and depend on his every word.satan wants nothing more than to dismiss, and cast doubt on god's word... so the question today is... do we have god's preserved word today?

Trying to figure out this accent. Stirling? Falkirk? Kilmarnock? Somewhere central Scotland methinks. Not Glasgow. -

Serena William is 'fighting for women'?!
by LoveUniHateExams inso serena williams lost the us open final 6-2, 6-4 to naomi osaka, her japanese-american opponent.. williams received three code violations from the umpire, carlos ramos: .
1. a warning for illegal coaching (subsequently admitted by williams's coach).
2. a point penalty for smashing her racquet.

The claim wasn’t that women get penalised more than men overall, but that they are more likely to get penalised for the same offence. These figures don’t answer that question, since it is perfectly possible for men to be half as likely to be penalised for an obscenity, and yet be penalised for obscenities more often than women overall.

God and the afterlife. Do you need to believe in both
by moley ini consider myself an atheist, i completely reject the idea of a totalitarian desert god/any god and the bible is a book of fairytales and folk legends.. i do however sort of believe that this life is not all there is.
i’m not talking about heaven or hell but in a tangible state of being.. there are a few experiences i’ve had in my llife.
could be imagined could be real.

Transhumanists seem to believe in a sort of afterlife without God.

A new Ezekiel book? Interesting possibility. Would that be the first since the “nations shall have to know” book?
But I thought they had stopped publishing major new books?
Where did the rumour come from I wonder.

Thanks, I thought the video was inaccurate. It gets a lot of views however. Entertainment is viewed above accuracy these days.
I wonder if Russell and White had anything to say about each other.

Can I ask a basic question? At the risk of displaying ignorance, I was wondering if you know whether Charles Taze Russell met and had dealings with Ellen White? Because I watched this video yesterday that claimed Russell knew White very well and they even attended the same church. Which is news to me!

Never mind 2020, what about 2024? Michael Moore says Trump will stick around as long as he can, including changing the constitution or whatever it takes.
“We’ve cut more regulations in a year and a quarter than any administration, whether it’s four years, eight years or, in one case, 16 years,” he said. “Should we go back to 16 years? Congressman, can we have that extended? The last time I jokingly said that, the papers started saying 'he's got despotic tendencies!' No, I'm not looking to do it, unless you want to do it.”

Adding insult to injury when the WT kicks out a congregation from their hall
by nowwhat? innot only does the organization confiscate the hall the congregation owns.
but then the former congregants are told to continue to pay for utilities and they are still responsible for upkeep and maintenance.
so they still have to cut the grass etc.
