i am missing myrna again.

this time of year she made sure we all got together.

i am tearing up again in thankfulness.. darn that date snuck up on my calendar, and i was not prepared.

Your opening post was so warm and ... human. I loved it. Brought tears to my eyes.

How blessed you and your family are to have had such a loving person in your lives and for all of you to open to receiving that love.

I have a mental image of something symbolic of Myrna being used during the dinner. A special platter or serving bowl. I have done that with some of my grandmother's dishes. We don't always talk about, but we all know who's it was.

Thanks for sharing. I'm going to go cry now because I miss my grandma again.

Good News!!

as many of you know, i left my job about 2 weeks ago.

it was a sinking ship, and i'm glad i got off when i did.

well, i still needed money.

Congrats on the job. Sounds like a good move for you. Do they start providing benefits @ 30hours per week?? If so, you are nearly there.

btw - It's really not too early to start a retirement account. Even $30-$50 per month starts adding up. Unless, of course, you REALLY think Armageddon is coming before you reach retirement age.

Work hard and have Fun - I know that if anyone can do that, it would be YOU!!!

Worldly people are...

insert any racist thought or saying you have ever heard after "worldly people are...".. i say this because earlier this morning i was thinking about things i have heard from my parents, extended family, and so-called friends about how evil or nasty worldy people are and if you think about it you can insert "worldly people" into any racist phrase and it would sound like something a jw would say.. i called that religious bigotry.. josie

What if jws were given polygraphs?

what would the results be like for questions like "have you ever doubted your religion"?

how about "do you believe your worldly husband will be killed at armageddon"?.

what if the wts decided to use polygraphs on all dubs to test thier faith?.

my god i can't believe what i just saw.. i was on the website for my local police dept.

and saw a link they had for a website that listed sex offenders.

i clicked on it and put in my zip code, i could not believe how many sex offenders live in my area, what is worse is that i know two of those listed and i never, ever would have thought that they could be a danger to children.. what bothers me so much is that many of these offenders commited crimes against children, i would say that a good 90% of those listed had been convicted of molesting children.how do these people live knowing what they have done?

okay, i finally wrote.

got inspired by some letters i read here, other places, and of course personal experience.

i would love to have an opinion about it.... (i had to translate it form french...gramatical strangeness and abbreviations doesn't count!lol).

I am a little curious, still about your need to submit the letter, however eloquent.

While it would make a clean break for you individually, would it also cut you off from your family?? Would that be a concern for you???
