  what if we all printed up some flyers advertising ..........seek the truth about the truth.go to jw.com for the answers to questions youv'e had or may have.read articles from the watchtower that the society hopes you will never find.. could we legaly put those on their windshields during a meeting?im sure we could do it at least once,and then if asked to leave comply with their wishes.its a well nown fact that out of 100 or 1000 or 100,000 that some will take the bait and check it out just due to human curiousity.. if we all started using the same informal preaching as them such as dropping flyers at laundry mats and phone booths and grociery stores etc you would think it would catch on.i havent counted all the members of this board and how many countries are represented but it sure looks like a lot to me.. what do you guys and gals think?..............ken

  I think the loving way in wich Jws are welcomed here and to please freely use the resources and archives to research the religion in private is the best thing for someone that is curious or doubtful of some spoken word or action from the society or local haLL.iT IS THE AGE OF INFORMATION .Let all that want to learn learn.Wow im starting to sound like a goofball.

  I just really really really want the wtbts to be shown that their house of cards can be brought down.

  Valis that was a good one.LOL How about a regular mailing campaign to the kingdom halls with quotes from the watchtower on select topics every month that would leave even the most steadfast without an answer.

  I know only Ms;s and Elders get the mail but they are curious creatues too.

  Elsewhere :What about a little sign just outside of the KH property.Many times KH's are adjacent to a homeowners property right by the parking lot.They cant take the sign down on private property.All we need is permission from the homeowner.I would bet that more than a few would allow it.

  I bet that would cause at least an announcement from the platform if not a talk on the subject of the Evils of the internet and apostates.In our case any press from them is good press.......What do you think? More Ideas come on you guys.

  There are a lot of low dollar ways to market products or services. PLease everyone post your ideas and together we could come to make a difference with very little investment of time or money.

  We have some of the most inteligent people ive ever had the chance to talk with here at JWD.I know there will be some great ideas come to life.....................................................LETS GO GET EM...............................................ken

  Will they ever be mainstream?

  some religions which have been on the fringe of society are eventually accepted into the mainstream because they have an aspect which is socially acceptable or beneficial to society.

  for example, the seventh day adventists have hospitals and the mormons have the tabernacle choir.

  but the jws seem to have nothing with which to appeal to the larger culture.

  This may sound crazy but, I think the governing body is much like a mafia crime boss.The more hes in the public eye the more chance he has of being scrutinized.Thats why they dont advertise on TV or purposely seek to get their name in the paper.They avoid reporters and studies showcasing their beliefs.

  Their preaching work,methods could be discribed as back door.LOL

  Police detectives are taught to follow the money when solving a case.The wtbts no doubt has many dummie corporations that serve their greater greed.To underestimate the earning power of that group would be a serious mistake.They have some of the most inteligent people our planet has to offer at their disposal.

  Mainstream would put them under the microscope and thats the last place liars and cheaters want to be.

  Sorry for the rant but these controling Ba!@%&ds make me want to puke

  Man I wish there was a pill we could shove into a JWs mouth that would wake them up.Im really starting to feel sad for those that have been subjected to the mental programing of the whacko Tower.

  Im sorry you have to go through this to get your family back.At the same time it speaks volumes for your maturity and value system.

  straight away told im not ready for baptism, not with the amount and depth of questions, that ive been warned about these sites and that apostates will do anything to knock jws.

  proving its the true religion bec the bible says it will happen (shows me scriptures).

  also told it doesnt happen with any other religious group - usually people just quietly leave and make no fuss - further proof that ths is the true religion.. i asked about all the dates where predictions were made, eg 1914, 1975. was told there were some articles loosly talking the 'possibility' of something happening, but the wt never said it definitely would - how could it, these are just ordinary men, not profits.

  Holly, recently I confronted the Elder I was studying with.My questions were about all the unfulfilled time prophecies,The changing /flip flpop of beliefs,and a big one was "Am I right that the governing body votes on policy changes with a 2 thirds majority needed to pass the change" answer;Yes."Then let me ask you,if 50 percent of the so called faithful and discreet slave,that get direction supposedly straight from God and jesus vote that a policy to disfellowship someone has no merit,then how does that show unity?

  In other words if the house is divided how can it be from God?How could they disfellowship someone when several of the governing body feel that what they did or said was alright?Should not the governing body members themselves be dfd for believing the same as the one accused?

  I was associated with the Borg for a long time but was never baptised.I relly believed all their teachings though.I was told not to go to college,not to play sports,no worldly friends etc.After reading crisus of conscience and this forum as well as freeminds my doubts turned to anger at having been mislead and held captive in their brainwashing cult.

  I know how you feel, Im sorry they have caused you to feel as though you are not worthy and possibly foresaking God.I assure you that is not the case.It is only reasonable to believe that God is the judge rather than man.Its those that do the judgeing that will find themselves having to answer for their sins. good luck on your search to find harmony with the creator and his son.I believe that it is easier than we think.........Ken

  I was lucky enough to get an original "why millions now living will never die book"It was written by Rutherford.Upon reading this book you will be amazed at the faulsehood involved in the borg.This book is not from an outsider but straight from the horses mouth.The book is very rare and costs quite a bit, but there are 2 online copies that I know of.Google to find it.I will post a link if you want but right now my pc is giving me nothing but grief.Pm me if you are interested.
