by ko38 ini just found it in a drawer that hadnt been opened in years.
i got it from my fathers library years ago.
it seems there arent many originals around anymore.

My wife was grabbed by a JW today.AT the ST.Louis Home show.
by ko38 in(not sexual)we ran into an old friend that we first met when he was not a practicing dub about 10 years ago.we used to go out to dinner all the time and both his wife and mine got along well.he was a former ms and while i didnt know that he had a background with the org at the time i was all the time talking about our need for a purpose in life.. i thought i would influence him in the truth and show him the way to salvation even though i was at the time way far from the society's acceptable persona of good standing..well,after a night of many crown royals and crab legs and prime rib and pasta bar he told me that he used to be an ms.. he was very shy to admit this as his lifestyle was not befitting a christian.for some reason or another we drifted apart and lost touch.in the meantime a couple years passed, well more than a couple maybe 10 and last years district convention,guess who we saw?yep my buddy sitting 2 rows across from us.. let me give you some background,i was raised a dub and went crazy at 16 before being baptised.ive never been baptised.i had always believed though, and had never went to college.i put in full time hours though never was recognised at all as you know.. some of you may know that there was a few years lapse there and then we found out the truth about the truth.without telling the whole story i would like to skip to this week.my friend is a home improvement salesperson the same as i am.we first saw him going out the door where the smokers hang out.we hadnt seen him in a while so we called out to him.he told us right away that he was back in.i took a looooong pause and said that i had done a lot of research since i had last seen him.. he said (thats great, so when are you getting baptised?
)my wife was with me and she just looked at me like,this ones yours.well i brought up a few points about the usual un thing the flip flop and the fds.then he just walked away and shook his head.this was so abrupt it was uncomfortable.my wife and i went back to our respective booths in the homeshow and just thought to ourselves(he is blinded).. on the very next break my wife had,she walked towards my booth and just happend to passs him againl.he grabbed her and said i know your husband feels that way,but do you?you know that right now you have to make a choice.. to make a long story short,my wife who has never been a dub and has no problem with the truth told him that she is the one who showed me the truth about the truth and started to speak of the need for truth in speech and the consistancy in beliefs.needless to say he spoke of ,either you have gods spirit or not.. we both tried to reason with him however it was clear he was brainwashed to the point of unreasonablness.. .

I found an inquiring mind today. His initials are R>T>
by ko38 inim in the window and siding business and one of my good friends told me that his boss needed some windows installed in his home.i met with him and talked about the job and what it would cost him,then i found that he was a pretty interesting guy.he goes on snake hunts in arizona texas etc.he has i believe 20 or so poisonous snakes at his home and is very knowledgable in the ways of the snake so to speak.well i gave him a good deal and he agreed to have the work done.. today we showed up to do the work and i happend to notice his calendar which pointed out the memorial.my friend told me that his father used to be a jw so i thought i would ask.it turns out his dad used to be an ms and either quit attending or was dfd.he never was very involved other than going to the meetings with his dad and i guess just being a kid.. about a year ago a dub came to the door and invited him to the memorial.hes been studying ever since.he says hes been serious lately and the message they send is sounding good to not only him but his wife too,shes now studying.. i couldnt help but mention a few points to him that i have discovered about the truth about the truth.actualy i probobly talked too much.it has only been 4 months since i was floored with the ray franz coc book.to make a long story short he is also wanting to question,has doubts but needs to be shown.
brought him here and he is probobly reading this now,however we were not able to get him logged on to post.. the un thing,blood,false predictions and child abuse are some topics hes interested in .if anyone can help especially simon to give him the ability to post that would be great.i didnt write his addy down when i was there but i will pm with that.please if you all will welcome ray even though he cant post yet.hes good people and doesnt deserve to be mislead by the jws.. please post your responses welcome zorro even though he is not logged yet.he will see them and feel encouraged.. .
please also post your proof of the different major falsehoods the society preaches.you all are the best.please help this man and his wife need and want help.

The left behind series,a fresh look at 144,000?

the left behind series of books i have found to be a great read.these are written by dr.tim lahaye and jerryb.jenkins.they are fiction to the point that they have characters and fictional situations.however i cannot help but feel that theyre discription and interpretation of revelation and the 144,000 may be correct.. in their series they feature a rapture of all the faithful saints before any of the other signs(horsemen)start.the writing is fantastic and filled with action and drama.. there are 12 books in the series,all guaranteed to be the best fiction an ex jw could ask for.however, they showcase the 144,000 as being the orthadox jews that convert to christ after the great tribulation has already begun.this was achieved by first 2 witnesses sent by christ to preach at the wailing wall in israel.these 2 spread a message that sounds true in the hearts of hundreds and thousands of orthadox jews that come to listen to them as they are able to kill would be snipers and those trying to do them harm with just a look or fire from their mouths.. is it possible to believe that the 144,000 will be chosen after the beginning of the start of the end?i for one see it as possible.anyway these books are a must read for those who want to relax and enjoy a good story.if they do not make you think then you are an athiest.they discribe (fiction) the anti christ and a group of charachters that know his identity when the rest of the population are unaware.. anyone who has read the series as well please comment on your feelings of 144,000,and if you thought it was a very good read.

I don't think God is fair./what do u think?
by wednesday inmy therapist and i talked about the bible, specifically, adam and eve and their sinning by eating from the forbidden fruit.
he says it is really a great lesson on consequences of your actions.
i agreed and we talked at some length about it, but one thing i decided, god was not fair.

by New Worldly Translation inhi, i'm new to these forums so i thought i would share some experiences of when i was a jw.. i was born in 1976 into a staunch jw family.
my grandparents, parents, aunties, uncles, cousins etc etc were all jw's going back to the 1950's.
when i was a child my parents, like a lot of jw parents, didn't let me have worldly friends.
