  What Did You Typically Donate To The Hall & Society?

  i'm wondering if our departure has cost the society and local congregations money.

  my therapist and i talked about the bible, specifically, adam and eve and their sinning by eating from the forbidden fruit.

  he says it is really a great lesson on consequences of your actions.

  i agreed and we talked at some length about it, but one thing i decided, god was not fair.

  Many of you are sounding like apostates,and not the nice way that you feel proud of.Im not trying to judge ,but I wish there was more rationale versus emotion in some of your judgements or interpretations of the bible.

  hi, i'm new to these forums so i thought i would share some experiences of when i was a jw.. i was born in 1976 into a staunch jw family.

  my grandparents, parents, aunties, uncles, cousins etc etc were all jw's going back to the 1950's.

  when i was a child my parents, like a lot of jw parents, didn't let me have worldly friends.

  You will find there are many here who share a very familiar story.This is the place to check in often and find a lot of facts about jws that are shocking.I know I was very upset when I found out the truth about the truth.I also had been in since age 5 and passed up on every opportunity I had.Many that were quite enjoyable and lucrative.

  This is a place people like us can heal, or at least have some closure and fun.Good luck buddy.(Its fun to say good luck again)

  The worst had to be the bible highlights on mosaic law.BORING.Then when it came time to ask what did you find particularly interesting on our reading today their would be about 2 minutes go by before another ms or elder would bail him out and say he really enjoyed

  the consitancy on how Jehovah smoked them fools with a quickness LOL just kidding but the comment was always so lame it made you WANT TO LAUGH.

  Neo, I didnt know they already had access to the un.If the km says its to focus more on the bible,then there has to be a different reason.What do you think is the REAL reason?

  I wonder if one of the reasons for this change is because they no longer have access to the UN library?They probobly pulled a lot of the mags content from there.

  Maybe other sources of published science have limited their access to reproduction and circulation.

  The dubs think the fds is the source for all the meaty info in the awake,but they are not.They are as bad as the chinese when it comes to copying things.

  what are the give away signs that make you just know that they're a witness?

  Yup,easily. 4 door car 4 people dressed up cruising aimlessly in a neighborhood for 20 minutes before they all get out with briefcases.
