it's a culture thing. Guys like me , and Simon, brought up to love marching to a cold, dilapidated Football Stadium to watch 22 men playing real football,with a round ball and without using hands.......We will never get it, and at my time of life I am not going to try.
The beautiful game reigns supreme all around the world. England's league is in great shape. My team are doing well. Let's leave the Yanks to their commercialised incomprehensible game...they are welcome to it

I can see a problem for a ,say 17 yr old being forced medication against their will . Nobody wants to live in a state where the doctor can thrust it on you , whatever you say. Of course it is different for a younger child. How old is this girl ? We do not know.
It does seem to be a paper exercise. . The parents have to say No., The doc gets a court order.... ok then.
Times change. I can remember stories as a boy , when children were smuggled out of hospital - transported to another facility where the surgeon was more sympathetic. ..... Of course in the cases we heard about the child recovered ok

Thanks Atlantis and Petra... No doubt their legal team checked it out but it seems outrageous that a KHall that was built, paid for, with often the savings of local dubs, for their use could be given away , just like that
We are seeing the results with halls being sold and dubs having to travel a distance to meet. The sheep just bleat that " it is Jehovah's will"

herein, are my reasons why.. lds general conference, which is the equivalent of the jw memorial, has an attendance of around 20 million ( that's people, who physically turn up).
however, the people choosing this online option is the unknown in this equation.. lets now look at 2 different scenarios for lds general conference to see how this compares to the jws: .

That is a strange thing for them to say in the ‘60s because the people in the Congs,and
those in charge were far more colourful than they are today. We( at home) were only reminiscing today about some of the really smart, funny , intelligent people that we knew and were proud to call friends. In my time I have known reformed criminals, ex hippies, past drug dealers who were then good people.... but certainly not “Watchtower clones”
of course all the men had served in the War which gave them a broader view of life than the ‘born ins’ running the show today,
