I may be dumb and I could not take all the video or pages of legal speak, but picked up what Easypromt says above.
Should not Mt Perez’s lawyer have spotted that flaw in their legal suit and made sure they sued the right WT Corporation.?

so, folks, 60 years ago, starting on september 1st, i believe, we, local witnesses in southern california, had the "privilege" of attending the "around the world assembly", at, of all places, the rose bowl, in pasadena.
(i think that it was an 8-day assembly) i was 9 years old then, almost ready to start 4th grade.
so, was anyone else, on this site, at that assembly?
Was it Really 60 years ago? Time flies..
I must have been 15 years old attending Twickenham, London. I do remember the Babylon book coming out . If my memory is correct Fred Frank did the talk and released it. Older bros. Saw it as new light but I did not know the former teaching anyway. Fred lost me after a while, I could not keep up with his speaking....

.
Did he lie about his previous conviction?
Why do they not do criminal record checks for new appointments?
this has just been posted on youtube regarding tony morris and the reason why he was removed as a gb member and 'relocated'.is tony morris a pedophile / nonce?https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3ahj9vxygkelet me know your thoughts down below.celtic.
I could not bring myself to watch the video of the accusation, but that is all that it is….as far as I know. Has there been a police investigation? Have any charges been made against him?
I also know nothing of this woman but reading Vanderhoven’s post above ( a respected member) I suspect that any accusation would never be considered credible.
Therefore I still consider Antony Morris as being what I know about him.. He is a thoroughly dislikable ex GB member but I know no more
“a circuit overseer started out by saying that on this last round of the circuit, the one thing he noticed the most...is that everyone is physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually drained...and that cuts across all barriers and demographics within the truth.
he then said that the one common thread that ran among nearly everyone was this: we feel guilty for feeling bad.
he said because we are told to endure with joy, our minds can cause us to feel enormous guilt over feeling this way...and then, my dear brothers and sisters...he proceeded to blow our collective minds.. he asked us to turn to daniel 8:27….
It is refreshing to hear of a c/o who injected a bit of balance into the teaching. He is right that JWs especially old ones feel stressed and tired and they are sick of being told that they should “always be rejoicing “.... Conscientious ones do feel guilty.
They could do with more c/o’s like that .
i have been thinking about this in relation to the directive given to elders to destroy any incriminating evidence they may have either on their pc`s ,e-mails , private notes in their possession, or notes in their witnessing bags ,etc.
to do with child sexual abuse they may still have in their possession.. isn`t that encouraging the elders to interfere with the justice system ?.
to break the law?.
Whether the WT instructions to Elders would cause them to commit a crime is a moot point.
Theoretically, if they were to be charged with obstructing the law for obedience to the Society, would they still do it? I believe most of them would. They view their appointment from God to be more important and transcends any law of man .
Personally , I would not have done it , unless we were under persecution and ban, that’s different.
When I was a Secretary I found a letter in the permanent file that said that if authorities wanted access to KH property or records we should refuse, and take the consequences. I knew then that if it were a criminal investigation against somebody, I would open the door and show them what they wanted. I would not protect some hypocrite JW from the law.
it's an interesting thought.
if you are an ex jw, presumably dfed, and you see a current jw in good standing engaging in behaviour that would concern their elders, would you pass on that information to interested parties?
do accusations from exes and other outsiders carry any weight?
It depends. If his conduct was wrong but did not really concern me .... then no. Of course not.
If it had hurt someone that I am close to... then yes. If it was a nasty crime then I would report to the law.
.
an enthusiastic new recruit attends the kingdom hall.
the elders aren't sure about his style of wardrobe.. does something like this ever really happen with new recruits?.
I have seen bright coloured jackets and trousers in a KH.. It would be tolerated in a newbie for the sake of drawing him in . But he would not be chosen to carry the microphone.
it was an opinion of someone that to be a divorced, single sister i. the organization was the lowest social standing you can have.
why are they dispised?
( what if was a scriptural divorce where husband cheated?
In answer to a comment above, the congregation has no place in trying to solve marital disputes. I remember as an Elder being taught that we should never give advice or tell people what to do. “ Would you like to be responsible if it goes wrong?” They should just point out the scriptural principals.
Another situation for a woman is if her husband leaves the faith.. She becomes a “ spiritual widow “. My wife has said how the various congregations have treated her totally different to when she was an elders wife.
the apostle paul instructed christians regarding work and providing for oneself.
his bible standards and instructions are completely dismissed by everyone who's jumped on the christianity gravy-train:.
(acts 18:3) "and on account of being of the same trade he stayed at their home, and they worked, for they were tent makers by trade.
One phrase that always grated on me was when I heard C/o and others speak of their “ Theocratic career”
Ugh ! It smacks of self seeking career minded middle managers, the ones I dealt with at work… I guess they were all the same…..🤬
