Our computer is always on, and seems like there is always someone in the family online! We have Road Runner through our cable company which we have had for years now, and like alot. We`d go crazy without access!

Thankyou, my friends
by dedpoet inas some of you know, my young daughter was taken into hospital on monday night with severe breathing difficulties.
i have just got back from seeing her, and am happy to say that it was nothing serious, just a chest infection, and she is fine.
my friend linda posted about this, and many of you replied.

Excellent News!
When kids get ill, or God forbid hurt, it can be the scariest and most helpless point in one`s life.

I just spent 2 days waiting on my very sick son & hubby! love the Fall! and school time! with all the germs that find their way to my house!! Finally got the kid off to school, and the hubby off to work ,and thought "I`ll take the morning and go for a nice relaxing soak in the jacuzzi." HUH! I change and go down to the pool area, turn on the jets, stuck my toes in the water..... FREEZING!!! Heater pump was out again! So ok I `ll deal, I`m here, I`ll hang and listen to my MP3 player and chill on a lounge chair and enjoy being outside! Well.... it gets very overcast and cool in the matter of 10 minutes! Now I`m back inside and at the computer again, oh well I tried!
....end of my ramble

MsMcDucket Your poor, poor brother!! Ouch!!!!I had a male friend go through this last year, it took him about a month to pass it, his doc told him it was from lack of water, and to many sodas!!! And just a few weeks ago a female friend had an attack coming home from work while driving!! She was suppose to go to a concert with the hubby and I that very night, needless to say she spent the evening in the ER!!! Brooke take it easy on yourself, I like the suggestions of a toasty blanket from the dryer and toast!

Greetings from Post-Wilma Survivor in Florida
by Nellie inhey all - glad to be back .
in case you've been wondering (and since i haven't been on - no power obviously), the damage down here in fort lauderdale is quite extensive.
i've been hearing from others that the media has been downplaying the severity of the the hit - but for those of us going through it, it was quite impressive.

Nellie; ((((( hugs & thoughts))))) for you and your family and what you have been dealing with this week.
I`m a Floridian as well on the east coast too, but up from you. We didn`t get much but lots of rain and some powerful wind gusts for about 6 hours. I agree the media has been downplaying this a bit (go figure!) must be some kind of "order"!! But I`ve seen different reports from our local new stations out of Orlando just what you guys are dealing with. Very sad!
I wish you the best in getting back to "normal" as soon as you can. Hang in there.
