  i've been feeling bad the last few days... like a bad cold.

  *** cough - cough - sniff *** .

  on thursday i went to my doctor and she ordered a ct scan of my sinuses.

  all right, now that we're talking about movies again, let's turn each other on to some of these:the best movie you thought you'd hatemine are: perfect blue my first exposure to intelligent anime.

  come to think of it, this is definitely a "best weird movie," too.fight club i'd been avoiding it for years because of the violence.the truman show i mean, jim carrey's mugging plus cliched preachments.

  well, that's what it could have been.basquiat a depressing ending to a story of mixed accomplishment and really bad judgement, complicated by mental illness but the scene where he hallucinates a work of art he has just designed, and smiles it explains so much.

  TresHappy; I just saw the news about Chris being offered frontman for Fuel!!! That`s awesome! I hope he takes it, but then again he probably will do well fronting with his own band too.

  Undecided, half-Hicks huh?! Congrats.! then I think are in order for I believe Taylor is going to win now

  I`m so over this show as well, but perhaps what has been stated here is true Chris is talented and he will have a career out of this, so I wish him and his family the best. Go Chris!!

  I`m sooooo mad!! I refuse to watch this show anymore after 4 years! I had a feeling after Taylor was asked to sing again that he is the predicted winner, I feel a setup here. I won`t watch the last 2 weeks, and if my buddies are feeling the same way, there`s even more of an audience they`ll lose for next year. And yes we did our share of voting.

  i haven't been on in a while so i've been perusing the threads today and i do have to say the last few have been fantastic.

  i find this a great forum to post something learned, something funny, or to just get something off your chest.

  we each have our own way of de-brainwashing(if you want to use that term)ourselves but we also share quite a bit in common.

  The new Tool Album

  i bought it a couple of days ago when it came out...it's amazing how much their music has developed since the last album.. since my liberation from the organization, i've found their lyrics and music to inspire me, it always did, but i never really knew why.

  now the lyrics strike the same chord...only harder.. here's a sample.... .

  I know! don`t be shocked all you youngsters here but I too listen to hard rock, & metal! Love the new Tool, I am a very happy gal to see that hard rock bands are making a huge comeback!! I just purchased the new Queensryche CD also they just released a followup disc to their major seller in the 80`s Operation Mind Crime, now OMC-II, awesome! Not like the original but completes the story if anyone here is familiar with that, Ronnie James Dio is included in one of the songs on the disc. And with the release of this comes the release of the female singer who sings the part of Sister Mary new disc as well, she is fantastic!! Her disc includes Jeff Loomis`s guitar work throughout, he really helps her make this sellable in my book! We also just picked up the new GodSmack.....different. Not sure what I think of this yet.

  OMG! is right!!! I have a teen turning 15 at the end of June! It`ll be my turn! Not looking forward to it, though it has to be done, right??!!!!! And they do grow up waaayyyy to fast!
