I just saw a documentary of the band on Much More Music. Axel is a megalomaniac! Remember that video where he jumped from a transport steamer and swam with a ton of dolphins?! That was so funny.

What have you discovered on the journey?
by dh in.
the journey being life, what have you discovered that you never expected to... could be a musician, actor, a movie, a type of food, a thought, a realisation, a religion, a thing about your personality or an emotion, a particular song... it could be anything really.... what have you discovered?

Ok so you left the idea of God - what would it take to come back?
by Qcmbr inone point that has played many times on my mind (and is fairly central to my world view) is that if god exists its up to him to prove it.
what would it take for you to accept god?
starters for ten: .

What book helped "open your eyes"
by Shawn inthe obvious two would be coc and isocf.
are there any others that had an impact on your beliefs/doubts?
are there any that are not apostate?

Shawn 'Sign of the Last Days - When?' is an awesome, awesome book for getting over that whole composite sign myth and adventist movement stuff. You'll love it.

I can't promote 'Who Wrote the Bible' by Richard Friedman enough man. This is a MUST read, and its not 'apostate'. It totally opens your eyes about the origins of the Old Testament.. gave me chills.

:The fact is that you knew why she wasn't following the ritual and you pressed her on it, making her feel uncomfortable. If any one was rude in this situation it was you.
Thats bullshit Eduardo. Yes the janitor has a right to not say hello but it still is in fact VERY RUDE. Having some self respect and not slinking off by exposing her rudeness doesn't hurt the dub and might even make her think. If she chooses to ignore the hello and explanation of how its okay to say hello in a work environment then that's her perogative.

I saw that kind of hypo-crazy constantly while I was a witness. I just get a good laugh from it now but it used to really irritate me when I was in. These are the first people to hush up in eagerness when an elder is about to announce a disfellowshiping or gossip about seeing an inactive or disfellowshiped person in public.. lol.

NOT ALLOWED TO RAPE....BUT
by tijkmo inwhen i was df i decided to use the time wisely and read the insight books which is how i came across this
the armies of pagan nations often raped the women of conquered cities, but not so the victorious soldiers of israel.
nor were they permitted for a month to marry a captive woman.

Donald I really wish you the best, your story was sad and very typical. You should really get a copy of CoC to help set your mind at ease.
