i was looking over the article just before next sunday's study article.. taking in knowledge now and forever.
the attraction is living forever.. a few statements show the trend of the article.. a compelling reason to be selective about knowledge is that our present life span is so shrt.. you realize that you will simply not live long enough to do so.. could a field of knowledge be available that will prolong life significantly, even forever?.
please read the next article, which will offer you the prospect of taking in knowledge forever.. still, he does not promise his readers that they could literally live forever.. however, there is one kind of knowledge that does promise everlasting life.. conversely, if you did live forever, you could take in useful knowledge forever.. john 17:3. let us first define the term "everlasting life.".

i did a quick search to see if there were any other star wars: epi iii threads already..i didn't see any so if there is one and i missed it...sorry.... ok who else out there is counting down til wednesday....i already have my tickets to a may 18th-may 19th showing bash at a local theatre here....i can't wait....can you feel the excitement...
I'm excited about it too. I was a huge fan of the very first three. I swore I wouldn't go to opening night because I was so disappointed with episode 2, but since all of the reviews I've read have been really good and saying its better than the first two.. I think I'll go back on my promise.

i got back yesterday from newfoundland, where my nan had just died a little over a week ago.
i was pretty upset that i wasn't able to see her one last time as she had died one day before i got there.
all in all the family held up as well as can be expected.
: 1Corinthians 15:13 says: " If there is no resurrection of the dead, then not even Christ
has been raised. Then our preaching is in vain." That's a good point. I apprieciate what you are trying to do, gold, I really do. It's just that I could not be a Christian now even if I wanted to. It doesn't make any sense to me whatsoever. It simply never will. If you find hope and peace in the Bible then by all means keep worshiping Jesus. If you don't, do some research. Not having faith in the Bible doesn't mean you have to disbelieve in a God. But still, thank you for trying to help me. I'm okay, though. GBL
i am very nervous about being in here.
i just got df'd last week and am unsure of how i feel about it.
i feel guilty but at the same time not.
:ive been the only one with a semi-conscience thats been drilled into me my whole life to come forward with my bad ways and its like even though i have gone through all this i am losing way more then everyone else is.
I can really relate to this, susu. I can understand the confusion you are feeling now as well, we all can here. You will find that the Watchtower is not what you may think it is, if you make the choice to dig deep for the truth. You may even find that being disfellowshipped was the best thing that ever happened to you so far in your life, with research and time.
Welcome to JWD. Keep learning, spiraling out, and posting.

...annoy the h3ll outta me.
my coworker, for example....a person whom i am sentenced to spend another 30 odd years sitting next to before i'm parolled able to retire.
she giggles at everything.
I knew a girl that was definitely suffering from CGD, and it was driving me mad. Everything I mentioned to her, and seriously, EVERYTHING was greeted with bouts of giggling. As an experiment I told her that I had just heard her house had been burned to the ground with her cat trapped inside. She screamed, "WHAT?!"
I giggled.

i find it interesting that the chickens have come home to roost for wts.. just as they have allowed no dignified way to exit the org, without disgrace, there seems to be no way for them to gracefully apologize for past (errors???).
just think of the recent mass exodus of faithful that has come about with each major doctrine change.
so many have been ruined by devoting their lives to the gb, that even if there was a sincere effort to correct things, i believe that the vast majority of the current membership would just revolt.. it's just a matter of time before the entire house of cards comes tumbling down.. so, whaddya think?.
I think the GB now allowing members to attend college will backfire on them in the end. Also obviously the internet is educating people about the cult.
I really think the younger generation leaving will cause so much confusion and dispair in their parents that there are indeed dark times ahead for a lot of nice oldsters stuck in that cult. The next 10-20 years will be interesting.

i walk alot in the summer time, usually about 5 miles a day when it's nice.
i never eat too much, so i don't gain weight.
a few days ago, i bought 2 ten pound dumbells and elastic bands and hand grips at walmart... i exercise with that about an hour a day.
I workout at a gym four days a week for an hour and jog for 45 minutes on my off days. I love it.
