  So who is ready, willing, and able to take out their local KH

  on a few threads now we have had the discussion of how to take out a local kh.. http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/6/90925/1.ashx.

  the consensus seemed to be that it would require a two pronged approach.. 1. help the newly df, da through loving support and association so they don't go back.. 2. help the new bible studies and return visits with a good inocculation from the "jw are god's org" disease.. let's not talk about how to do that just yet.

  How did you get over your silly fear of demons?

  even now, i still battle with a silly fear of if something might have demons or not...i know it is silly, really, i do, but i haven't been able to get over it completely yet.

  does anyone have any suggetions for me?

  Read 'The Demon Haunted World' by Carl Sagon. Doing research into the origins of the Bible helps too. Also read 'Who Wrote the Bible?' by Richard Friedman. It's all a bunch of shit.

  i remember so long ago i thought elders were like a god and would always make sure i smiled at them and put on my innocent act in front of them .

  even being out of the cult it took me years to finally get it through my head that they are human and not a god as they themselves think.

  then one day a jw elder came to my door and at that time i had a newborn baby that i had been up with all night .

  my cousin witness has replied to my email asking how things were going and that i haven?t heard from him in awhile.

  after responding that he was doing ok he asked if what he had heard through the grapevine was true.

  I say hope for the best but expect the worst. I don't ever expect to hear from my old dub friends. Their loss. I don't really want to have much to do with people who can't think for themselves anyways. You'll forget about your buddy soon enough.
