Dub at work said that the Knowledge book was too difficult for new ones
by acsot into understand so that's why the wts published the new book being released at this year's district conventions.. the new book gets "straight to the point".
according to her "and many others", the knowledge book was too difficult for those just beginning a bible study.
i said, "you're kidding!

Proselytizing for the Borg
by Sith ini recently read a post written by a female jw who was obviously disenchanted with the wtbts.
she wrote about how she had been out in the door to door work recently because she had no excuse not to go, and how she had placed some magazines with a "householder".
it made me think about how just one small thing like placing wt literature with an innocent unknowing individual might eventually lead them into the watchtower trap.

"This Generation" change -- fallout evidence?

the 1975 debacle left the fds scrambling for explanations for the mass exodus of r&f who were disillusioned by their bs.
the pat answer has always been, "those people didn't keep pace with god's chariot" and they weren't "strong in the truth" and allowed something so "minor" to "stumble" them.

I was absolutely certain with the "new light" on the generation teaching that I was surrounded by lemmings. It didn't bother anyone, at least not visibly. A lot of people were commenting on how grateful they were for the new light and how it was soo obvious that the light was getting brighter and brighter! I really started to look at my friends differently from that point on, and I started the fade - in retrospect I should have DA'ed at that point instead of dragging it out.
I picked out parts on the schedule at assemblies and told my friends that "I bet this is the talk where we get more new light!" They would always sort of groan and change the topic. I did that for ten years.

Just remembered the old "Live Forever" book and that pic of the hippy looking apostates with sticks preparing to just beat the shit out of the dubs, after the thousand years with Satan being let out of the abyss. That would be a little tough to comprehend for the "new ones".

I saw a few of them a while ago street witnessing. They looked just petrified. I did feel sorry for their ignorant asses.
But I still couldnt wipe the huge grin off my face.

Recently Disfellowshipped
by dfd ini having been "lurking" around here for about a month--right when i was disfellowshipped actually.
in a year long relationship--broke up-five months later had a bout of conscience and told on myself.
myself and my ex are disfellowshipped and now most of my former group of "friends" are getting in trouble.

I like to flick little kids in the ear and look away. I rush to the elevator in my apartment building and hit my floor number hurridly so the next people have to wait. Then i push all of the buttons and get off. I don't know what type of personality that is but it can't be good.
