I thank God everyday for my friends and I have lots of them. I don't know what I'd do without them in my life. Try going out to places where others hang out at, there are all kinds of things and places you can go where you can meet others. And hey you got a heck of a lot of friends here....

John 19:14, a devastating contradiction?
by DT inmatthew, mark and luke claim that jesus died on passover (nisan 14) john, however, claims that jesus died on the day of preparation for passover (nisan 13) "now it was preparation of the passover" -john 19:14 nwt (it helps to read the context, several verses before and after.
) john also doesn't mention the lord's evening meal with his his apostles on passover.
it would have been impossible, because he was already dead, according to john.. the bible contains many contradictions that can possibly be reconciled if you have enough imagination, but this contradiction seems pretty blatant.

Are Seventh-Day Adventists a better Church to belong to than being a JW

" and some people seem to need to belong to an organization.
doing some research on answers.yahoo.com i noticed that both jws and mormons come in for a lot of criticism for being manipulative cults.

They believe that their way into heaven souly depends on you worshiping the Sabbath on Saturdays. They also believe that eating pork is a sin.

I am a Born Again Christian BUT ! I am not nor will be a member of any religious organisation. I have tried other churches since leaving the WTBS but find that they are just as judging and controlling as others. The only difference between the Watchtower Society and other Religions is others teach a closer to the truth and the one tells nothing but lies.
I feel that if I try to follow Jesus rule of thumb which is "Love your neighbor as yourself" & "Love your God with all your heart mind and strength" and believe that Christ is and was the messiah and that he was raised from the dead after being murdered on the cross for our sins then I feel I am saved by his grace. It is impossible for anyone to say you have to stop sinning in order to be saved because the scriptures say " All men fall short of the glory of God, so how does a man not sin if he is destined to sin.
That's where I am at ! Praise Jesus !

I went to the doctor today and was told I'm going to hell!!!!!!!!!!
by changeling ini went to my gp today.
i go there quite often since he's also my parent's doctor and i bring them to all their appointments.. i take my dad there at least once a month for blood work since he is on blood thinners, so i'm very familiar with the lady who draws blood.. today i had to have blood drawn myself, and the lady inquired about my parents.
she asked if they had had a nice christmas.

This is where I find that all or most religions are alike. They seem to feel that they are so righteous that they can judge others. This is a hypocrisy . This is why I do not believe in religion but remain spiritual. The scriptures does not say that you have to go to church to win heaven but only believe in the Christ and repent. So I lean towards the saving grace the scriptures teach rather than the words of some man or woman's ideology.
