I am sorry but I don't have any. First my mother did not raise me. My parents were divorced when I was 5 years old. My father got custody of the children and that was in 1966. That alone should tell you something as that was not customary back then. I found my mother whenI was 17. She was a JW then and is now, and because of her religion, has caused a terrible amount of animosity in our family. I love my mother but we do not have a relationship which I think is sad.............

why are the seventh day adventists growing faster than jw but we still boast 16 billion (something like that) hours in field ministry as being so important and proof that our work brings so many into the truth?.

I LOST IT ... my JW rant today
by talesin inwell, i just couldn't hold it in anymore.. today, i exploded, talking to my mother about the family inheritance and how i am being screwed.. i told her i had been so angry lately, and just had to tell her what i was thinking, because the anger was slipping out at times, and i was making snide anti-jw comments .... which is not my way.
i'm usually quite direct.. i told her that i couldn't take being treated like a piece of dog you-know-what on the bottom of someone's shoe any longer.. that in the past couple of years, i had learned so much filth about the jws that i was getting more and more disgusted day by day.. i started shouting ... there is nothing wrong with me!!!
why do i have to be shunned when they hide child molesters???.

I know just how you feel. I too have been severly attacked by my mother who is a JW. The evil bitter attacks I withstood would of not been tolerated in any other church, Not even a mormon church. My keyboard is not working very well but when I get it replaced I will tell all what I went through with my JW family.
Just stand strong and true, and their truth will fall right in their faces.

I am a living witness to the supernatural. I have seen ghost a couple of times, I have been touched by a spirit once and have had objects thrown and broken in my house by spirits. Call me nuts if you want but I know well what I have seen and experienced. They are there, why they are there I do not know, but it is indeed a fact that spirits do exist.

Divorce after 20 years ?
by oldflame ini was talking to a friend the other day, he told me that he wanted to get married but there was a problem with that.
he told me that he and his wife split over 20 years ago and he does not know where she is.
he said he has looked and cannot find her so he can file divorce papers.

Thanks everyone for your input and I will relay the messages to my friend. But he does not live in California, he is in Colorado. I had already told him to contact a lawyer but I had thought maybe I could find out somethings for him here. It was just a chance. So thanks again

Does anyone know how he can get this done not knowing where she is ? He also had a son by this woman and has not seen his son in the same amount of time, will that make his divorce any harder ?
