It's statements like "When we take care of deserving ones to the extent that our circumstances....... blah, blah, blah, that just drives me crazy. So what the governing body is saying is, many who were displaced by Katrina are not deserving of being helped. Another words, all worldly people are not deserving of being helped but Jehovah's people are. They make me sick. Who are they to judge people like that. Is that what being a good samaritan is to them. Only helping your brothers and sisters. Are we not all brothers and sisters on this planet?

The Wild Beast has both a Name & Number. Do you know what the NAME is?

I apologize to the rest of you posters....I didn't want this to turn into a bummer OR a pity-party......but I just had to speak out and settle (I hope) this brand of "sick humor" and this equally sick person...once and for all.

I totally agree here with you on this. I have a very good friend who had a stroke and is also paralyzed on his right side. He too had to learn to walk and talk again and it depresses him terribly. There are some real a**holes here on this board and I am sorry to have read that which the a**hole wrote about you.

Now on to the subject. I don't know what the name is but the other day on TLC channel they said that back when the bible was being written that numbers and letter meaning and that 666 actually had meant a name. I fell asleep before I could get the whole show so I missed what the 666 meant but we all know that anyways.

Big , big article in todays newspaper. It's about time someone said something publicly on this subject. I cannot see how any JW that reads the paper can miss this and I don't see how anyone would continue to be a JW after reading what was written. Finally some sanctification is coming to a head about that evil organisation....Yeah !!!!!!!!!

Why did Jehovah give the job of writing the BIBLE to the Catholics?

this is a thread which was inspired by our own hot little mary.. jehovahs witnesses claim that since pentecost of 33 c.e., there has been a faithful and discreet slave class that was appointed by jesus himself and that this slave class was "entrusted" with all of jesus belongings ( dispensing spiritual food to his followers and the rest of mankind).

oddly, when it came to gods own word to mankind being compiled ( the bible), ......jehovah chose the catholic church to dispense, audit, compile his message!

A lot of fundamentalist Baptists that believe in using the KJV only think that all of the other translations have been "corrupted" by the Catholic Church.

This is a very untrue statement here. I attend a Baptist church and many members use different bibles and the pastor qoutes many scriptures from them. I use a NIV bible and I asked him what his impression was of this bible. He said it was a good bible and that he also uses it.

I also believe that there were many other books to the bible that were not used in the bible as we know it today. Who decided not to use them ? Was that also the Catholics decission ?

im fading, and some of my family now realize we arent going to meetings.

everytime they phone or speak to me me, they keep reminding ( threatning) that the end is so close, dont give up now.. i just dont know how to respond, i know so much, but dont want to go into the un stuff yet ( dont want to sound apostate just yet) how can i say i dont believe the end is close !

that armageddon isnt iminent, what scripture can i use to back it up.

Hey I will tell you guys that the witnesses are not the only ones teaching that the end times are near. The last service I was at, at my local Baptist church, the pastor said that we are at the ends front door and that the end is very near. So the witnesses are not the only ones teaching this.

Does God make Mistakes or Bad Decisions?

genesis 6:5-7, 8:21. god decides to send a great flood to kill all humans, save noah and his family, because man's heart is evil.

"and god saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.... and the lord said, i will destroy man whom i have created from the face of the earth.".

later, after the flood waters recede, god promises never to do it again because man's heart is evil.

I think it is pretty evil, in the fact that in the pictures above those who are surviving (witnesses) are smiling at all the suffering going on around them. Do they really think that they will be happy to see all the pain suffering and even death. How morbid to make a photo like that. I'll just bet that when that day comes, the witnesses will be out there killing their fellow friends, family and whoever and smiling about it all the while. That's okay my gun will be loaded.

revelation is an odd book even to believing christians.

nowhere in the book is jesus earthly life discussed.

not the sacraments, miracles, his earthly existance, his birth.......nothing.. this book is an obvious hatred for the roman dictators written by a disgruntled jew/jews that wrote in a fantasy world concerning roman destruction by the hand of a fictitious jewish messiah who never showed.. the christ of revelation is actually born in heaven, and under pretty extraordinary circumstances (his mother is clothed in the sun, with the moon at her feet, wearing twelve stars as a crown a reasonable description of isis).

i tried to search and see if someone else had posted this.

i guess even if it is a double post, it is very valuable information.

this link should take you to a page where if you are in the us, you can get a map of your home with all registered sex offenders put into the map in the area.

I thought that sex offenders were not allowed to live close to schools, but when I went into that site and typred in my address I was utterly amazed at how many offenders lived around schools here in my town. That pisses me off that they allow those sorry bastards to sit in their homes or wherever and watch our children. Maybe the people need to make congress change this to protect our kids a little better.
