Technically this only happens if you were to click a link to WitnessWorld FROM this site. Web browsers only report the "referrer" (the previous site) when there is a direct link.

2. Avoid the referrer tag. Every time you go to a website, your browser sends it your 'referrer', the site you were at last. Never go directly from JWD or any other ex-JW website to a Witness website. Open a new browser window, or go visit an innocuous site first.
GGRRRRRR why couldn't I read this BEFORE I went to lurk and register at witness world? I have a bad habit of registering on every site I go to. Saw a link on here to witness world and followed it. After registering, it said I had to wait for permission to post. We'll see what happens, it is no big loss if they don't let me post, but it would tick me off and make me swear a bit, because it sounds like such elite thing to do. "You dummy, this is OUR club and you can't come in".
I saw that the kid posted on there to warn them about all of us. You know, the poor kid who had this website with a picture of his KH which has 3 members.. He then came on here to defend himself. So, they must see his 'referrer tag' if he goes back and forth, no?
my name is jaron, 19 years old, i'm from the netherlands, and in about a month i am going to start joining the jw's meetings and i'm kind of looking forward to become a jw.
i can of course tell ya'll my entire spiritual story, but that would take an entire bookwork.
in a nuttshell: my father is an ex-jw, my half-sis (from an earlier marriage from my dads) is one of those "special pioneers", and i am jewish (my mom is jewish).
Welcome to the forum, Jaron. Let's see if I can answer your question. I am just looking at the cover of the fourth edition of Crisis Of Conscience, which is written by Raymond Franz, who used to be a member of the governing body of Jehovah's witnesses.
On the cover it says "The struggle between loyalty to God and loyalty to one's religion". Think about that carefully. You don't need to belong to any religious group in order to be loyal to God. For example, by becoming a JW, you would have to be loyal to the Watch tower society. I am halfway through reading the book Crisis of Conscience, and I am more than ever convinced that the Watch tower society is NOT God's organization on earth.
Jehovah God is your friend. Do you not approach all your friends directly? If someone stepped forward tomorrow and told you to do a few things on behalf of your best friend, would you do it, or would you try and figure out first if the information really came from your best friend? See, we have the bible and the bible contains many things we need to know in order to do the will of God. Being loyal to an earthly organization which pretends to be God's mouthpiece is not one of them.

weve been fading now for 9 months.. can anybody tell me what book jws are studing 1 and 2nd week of march????.
this is going to take some monovering but, weve got visitors and they want to go to a meeting mid week.
sso we are going to take them to a cong outside our territory, and we need to visit it for a couple of weeks so they think its ours.
ps. Just to be clear, I usually don't promote dishonesty at all, but I do understand that there is a lot at stake for you.

THERE you go! Go on a 'daytrip' on Tuesday, and have an 'unexpected emergency' on Thursday. Do you have a friend, collegue, neighbor, or something, who can call you for 'help' an hour before the meeting? Heck, pm me your phone number and I'll do it. I'm off on Thursday nights (except for this coming Thursday). Could be fun, lol.

I honestly don't think you can pull this off. I'd say, try to be as honest as possible, because once a lie starts to kindle, it could lead to a fire. I was thinking about this, and wondering what I would do in this situation..
Two options.. Either you honestly tell them that you have been fading a bit (you can always dress it in and say you might be planning on going back), that will make them feel better. Or, go take them on a day trip (a trip which you say you had planned in advance). You tell them the place you are taking them to is a must see place (find a nice place to go), and you tell them that you won't be back to go to your regular KH, but since you don't want them to miss a meeting, you will make sure you all get to go that night.. to a KH far away.
i can't stand wearing suits for anything.
i wore them so much while i was a jw that i prefer to never wear another one as long as i live.
hell, i wore jeans at my wedding!.
I hate dresses and skirts with a passion. I'm a jeans kind of girl. When I went to the meetings, I would bring my jeans and sweater and take my dress off in the bathroom after the meeting. I had an excuse because I often had to go right to work after the meeting, so I didn't have time to go home and change.
some people have to almost live in a bubble, because they are allergic to so many products.. probably there is a difference between being allergic, and just plain sensitive to certain products.
in any case, are there things you just have to stay away from?
i can't stand cinnamon it totally burns me up.
Most seafood, most insect bites, wax, and alcohol. Last but not least, I am allergic to many medications, including allergy medication such as allegra, benadryl, etc..

recently i asked a question within another's post on the meaning of "junior, senior" statements/levels.
the response i received within that post( and thank you ) was that it had to do with the "number of posts" one has/had made.
The posting levels and notations on an individual's post/profile are very reminiscent(sp) of Governing Body, District Overseer, Circuit Overseer, Elder, Servant, Special Pioneer, Pioneer, Auxiliary Pioneer, etc.........etc..........etc............
I beg to differ. Every forum I know has different poster levels. As a matter of fact, I run a poetry forum on the web. Giving 'levels' to posters is not an option, it gets done automatically. You can change the name of the levels, but you can't avoid having levels. I don't know if this is the case here.. just wanted to mention that the level thing is often part of the forum one runs.
