  New here, so, should I be crossing any lines, I ask your pardon.
  Recently I asked a question within another's post on the meaning of "junior, senior" statements/levels.

  The response I received within that post( and thank you ) was that it had to do with the "number of posts" one has/had made.

  Now, I ask that you close your eyes...............allow yourself to travel to a calm place...............allow yourself to picture a place of beauty.........perhaps a lake, a mountain, a place where you have been happy, peaceful..............................

  Now, I ask that you stay in that place and think about or allow yourself to travel back.......................to a place called...................

  The Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses!

  The posting levels and notations on an individual's post/profile are very reminiscent(sp) of Governing Body, District Overseer, Circuit Overseer, Elder, Servant, Special Pioneer, Pioneer, Auxiliary Pioneer, etc.........etc..........etc............down to those families that have been in the congregation for a "long" time, down to those that have money in a congregation.

  Is this to say that those that have time to post more frequently than others are to be revered? that those that have nothing better to do are revered? that those that are more outspoken or brave, or are those that are nymph cum poops are revered?

  Maybe its a matter of "MUD", when one has rolled in it it takes a few baths(years) for it to completely wash off. In the incredibly short time that I have been here I have found that most that are here are here to rejoice in the freedom of having left something that was harmful(for the most part , not all/everyone).............hence............should the practices of what one is so pleasantly happy to leave be continued here?

  I am a woman of infinite curiousity, hence, I welcome all responses, favourable, or not. I have found this site to be a good one, a fine one; Should the "levels" not change............I request to be kept a NEWBIE for however many years I may post or participate.

  I close in saying and directing you to my initial statement. If this post is offensive, or across the line, please pardon me, correct me, teach me.

  Hi nowino, I could say only, that those who have time in here, are those who have cleared a hurddle or two on just getting here in the first place.

  When I first found this place I was scared to death as it was apparent that it was no Pro JW site. Many find it very scary to even go looking for info not of the society. Pushing the enter key the first time after googling JW's, finding that there was a flood of info on them pro, con indifferent & otherwise, was one of the biggest steps for me to attempt.

  And gives you a little incentive to make yourself more available, if thats what you choose to do afterwards. Some take it a little seriously than others. Some make their acensions without mentioning them at all.

  Just a little perk on making yourself available to those dying to get to know you.

  You're not the first person to relate the forum "ranks" to the rankings in the organization. It's an easy analogy to draw. But it's pretty common on forums like this -- no matter what the topic -- to list ranks for members based on the number of posts.
  
  A definite difference is that the number of posts and the "rank" of the person in no way suggests any level of respect. Some members have tons and tons of posts, but they're morons or nuts and nobody respects them. Others pop on and very quickly show themselves to be cool, despite only having a few posts.
  
  Don't sweat it. You'll be a "regular publisher" before you know it. And with hard work and sacrifice, you'll be a "pioneer". (Unfortunately, you're a woman, so you'll never make "elder". Tough break)

  WELCOME! You will note that I have relatively very few posts under my belt, but my views have been accorded the same weight as many who are "Emperor Class", have been appreciated by many, have been scoffed at by some, and have generally fit in the overall mix about as well or poorly as anyone else's posts. The true absence of clergy/laity was one of the first things I noticed about this site.

  noino --- simon already said that the posting titles were just for fun , we certainly do have fun with the star wars theme on this site , if you stick around you will see that a persons level has only to do with how many posts they make and nothing to do with intellect .please feel free to discuss whatever is on your mind especially if it is WT related .welcome to the board

  First of let me welcome you to the forum.

  Like many forums there are names for the number of posts a person makes. Our post theme is of course Star Wars. You certainly can't equate that as Jehovah's Witnesses do.

  Its as the poster up above said, its not the number that makes the person revered in any way. Some like to post more than others. Ones who post few can say alot in less words than those who have a thousand posts or more. Like me I am long winded I love posting and I respect a new post as much as I do a poster who's been here for years. Its what we say that counts.

  We like to make a game of it by Simon giving us levels in Star wars. Just think maybe oneday you'll be the Supreme One.

  We are a humble bunch at most. We are all here learning, sharing, caring and having just a good time of life after having been subjected to Organization for so long that has hurt many of us.

  So relax its not a competation.
