We may have interbred with Neanderthals earlier than previously thought.
by cappytan init is now thought that we have been interbreeding with neanderthals as early as 100,000 years ago.. http://www.bbc.com/news/science-environment-35595661.
craziest thing i just realized: some women still breed with neanderthals up to this day.
rihanna and chris brown anyone?.

Key unwritten jw rule - boys and girls cannot be "just friends". This will rule will interfere with almost all aspects of teenage and young adult life. -

Perhaps volunteer labor doesn't have as many rights and expenses in Germany?
Perhaps they are preparing to lose charity status.

Based on your last post I,would ask are you considered a spiritual JW man? If not that may be why they are so shy. If you are they may just be nervous and not want to lead you on. You know, no dating, only courtship. -

My wife was shy and inexperienced about real life. It was a tough adjustment for a bethelite and a regular pioneer to have to make it on their own.
If you look carefully you can find a hard working, kind, supportive witness girl or woman - just don't ever leave the witnesses.

Another one bites the dust...
by StarTrekAngel inso despite glimpses of hope here and there, the wife is just not seeing this cult for what it is.. so who is the one the bit the dust?
i've not been feeling so well lately.
a bit of lightheadedness.

Good luck STA. Definitely continue to take care of your physical and mental health. Your wife won't like going alone and the questions and looks she'll get but hopefully the congregation and your wife will get used to it pretty quickly. -

It seems that the LDC would have to coordinate with each congregation that makes a purchase request to be sure they have the right information as far as mounting requirements, wiring and other stuff. Sounds like more work for the LDC and more profit for the WTS. -

Question about visiting bethel ... akward moment at the end
by nevaagain insince there a couple of ex-bethelites here, and a lot of people from the greater ny area who have probably visited the bethel in brooklyn and patterson many times, maybe they can shed some light into this curious question we (my wife and me) have for awhile.. so a couple of years ago, we happaned to be in the states and also went to visit the bethels in brooklyn and patterson.
we had the full package, what i mean is, not only we took the tour, but we also had someone to invite us for lunch.
while we wanted to enjoy our stay there, there was always a weird feeling being there.

Invite friends from home who you know really well for a meal to to see your room - no tip really expected but really really appreciated.
Invite someone else's friends or people from back home you don't know that well in for a meal or to see your room - tip expected.
Invite girlfriend/potential girlfriends family or friends in for a meal or to see room - no tip expected but really appreciated.
Send out yearbooks - letter with thank you and money expected.
That was my experience.
