  a few years ago at the ca, there were experiences about what people had given up to serve jehovah.. (sidebar - in every instance where i personally knew those on the platform, the experiences were lies or at best half truths embroidered with lies.).

  anyway - the interviewer was constantly saying " as a <insert profession> you could have earned <insert salary>".

  what annoyed me was that somebody who gave up a full time job cleaning toilets for jehovah, and took a part time job cleaning toilets was not even invited to participate.. hb.

  what to can you do to prevent kids from being indoctrinated and possibly become jw one day?.

  what i do (son is 7, twins were born this year):.

  talk openly with my son about cults and how they trick people.talk openly about jw history: false prophecies, pyramids, ruthrford.....signed my son for soccer team.help him to find "worldly" friends.although i hate to listen jws bs, when my wife goes to the meeting i go with them to make sure no elders are "encouraging" them.although i am an agnostic today, i read the bible and pray with the family, becouse otherwise my wife would take over ... (since daddy is "spiritually weak"...)i work hard to not be df to not lose control over my son spiritual education.... what else you do/suggest?.

I need the life i have always yearned for, and being in this cult makes me want to slit my throat, literally. Wife will go mad crazy but time goes on and that will even end.

  it sounded very funny when my little sister asked my mother during their weekly bible study (some 25 years ago) what would happened if satan repented?

  my mom thought she was being a smart-ass and punished her for asking such thing.

  but now that i think about it, can any of these fallen angels repent?
