I missed this place but I just didn't feel like posting. It's good to be back after a cancer scare I recently had. I found a fast growing tumor on my back. Four biopsies later, they surgically removed it. It was about the size of a golf ball, shaped like an egg. It was cancer...a something-something Lypoma...and just had another small one taken out of my chest...still have two more in some lymph-gland areas that they're going to watch. Anyway, when you first get the news about Big "C"..it makes you drop back and re-evaluate...everything. Good news is..the big one was not matasticized(sic)..may pop up again bu probably just in local area...same with the smaller one...and they said I don't need Chemo for now....Yea!!! So unless something else pops up, I'm glad to be back for now.

In my cong about 15+ years ago some "brothers" from a different locality came thru with a pyramid scam of sorts that involved kinesiology. Along with other items they had these small, thin metal plates, about the size of a pack of cigs but very thin. You were supposed to wear this in your pocket or near one side of your chest and it would cause your body to function better. They were specially magnetized or something. Anyway, it caused all kinds of probs because people were fighting over territory rights for selling these things. Anyone remember that stuff?

acsot....I know how you feel. I grew up in IT and I still feel weird if I join in a Happy Birthday song or even saying those horrible words. Of course then, I feel even more terrible when I can not remember my parents or kids birthdates...because such little importance was given to them. I guess it's just a time related thing, depending how many years of brainwashing you were exposed to. Everyday I'm weighing the difference between the "worldly" folks and the Borg...and everyday I discover to my pleasant surprise the "worldly" folk show more love, emotion, empathy, etc than the Witless ones. Depending on the amount of exposure, some of us may never be completely "normal" but we can get better.
