this is reposted from e-watchman with follow up posts, but i thought if it were true, it would be a major breakthrough and embarassment for the society.... http://e-jehovahs-witnesses.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=658&postdays=0&postorder=asc&&start=0.
a new talk outline not yet released to the congregations was recently given in miami by a gb member (llsch ?).
it is titled "what the future holds".
I believe his last "coming" was in 1975 when he looked around and said, "Nahh this can wait 'til later."
Of course that lead to the famous Fred Franz liner, "No no, I said Bud Light."

i thought i would let you know that my dad, passed away a little while ago, tonight, january 23. they called me at 6pm to tell me.
he had been failing rapidly for the past month, and had completely lost his hearing and was totally blind.
the dementia was extreme too, and he still knew me on thursday, but didn't wake up to know me in the following days.
Mulan,
I am very sorry for your loss.

righteousness
throughout history, people have tried to live up to gods righteous standards, so as to gain his approval.
the bible holds up many shining examples of persons who pleased god.
Yeah...how come that foreskin scene was never depicted in an assembly drama? Oh what great moments we may have missed. Some of that turkey/ham that was in my hoagie could have been used as prop material. Picture: David holding up a handful with great amounts of ketchup from small tubes squeezed upon it to represent Philistine blood...Oh my, my only regret is that I did not work in costumes and props.

bonezz, you posted a copy of a letter in the "sister sneaky/deceptive" thread that had the following info about a particular wt (see following excerpt).
someone has brought it to my attention that it might be prudent to be proactive in my case and alert the hospital admin of the potential for violation of privacy rights of patients by jdubyas in their employ.
in this case, i'd greatly appreciate it if you, bonezz, or anyone else out there has a copy of the article mentioned in your posted copy of that letter, because i can see the sense of doing this to protect other patients and to forewarn the hospital admin.
Frannie,
Sorry but I just saw this post. It looks as if someone has already pasted it for you. Orignally I found it on one of the other sites. If you need any other info you can PM me.

i had a chilling experience with a sister sneaky/deceptive this morning at the er where i went for some lab work and to get my eye infection treated.
sister sneaky/deceptive was the one who interviewed me to obtain info to put me in their computer system.
as she progressed with her questions, she asked:
Hi FB,
This is the first time I've posted in quite awhile...been reading and keeping up to date with stuff here but your post made me want to share something similar with you. In my local town we have a "sister" (a real self righteous one) who works in admitting. She's privy to everyone's records. A couple of months ago the hospital placed a small box ad in the local paper extolling her as the employee of the month. It burned me so I wrote the following letter to the hospital board and attached Watchtower article confirming what I told them...
Board of Directors
To Whom It May Concern:
’s recent announcement of XXX XXXX as the “Employee of the Month” brings to light some possible legal ramifications for your institution. Normally a person’s religion is of no business to anyone…unless that religion requires the person to reveal confidential patient information.
This is such the case with your employee of the month. Mrs. XXXX as a devout Jehovah’s Witness is required by the tenets of her faith to report anyone who is also affiliated with her faith who may accept medical procedures that are prohibited by Jehovah’s Witnesses and the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society.
For example, if a person of the Jehovah’s Witness faith comes to the hospital and is given blood, either in an emergency situation, or with the patient’s approval, Mrs. XXXX would be required to reveal this information to the elders in her congregation. The act of receiving blood, as you are probably already aware, is severely prohibited by this religious organization. Your medical center would be held strictly liable by the court for allowing a person with such beliefs to have access to privileged information that could be abused in such a way.
Please pay particular attention to the attached article from the September 1 st issue of a Watchtower magazine (*** w87 9/1 12-15 "A Time to Speak"-When? ***)
in which a hypothetical case is proposed. You will notice that a devout Jehovah’s Witness is not only required to turn in an offender but is also at risk of having sanctions brought against them if they do not reveal the confidential information. Jehovah’s Witnesses keep strict control over their followers. It would be wise for you to consider the legal implications of allowing such a person to have knowledge of private health related matters.
Regards,
A concerned one who works in the legal field.
Email: xxxx @.com
PS. I am also aware of at least one other employee, acting as a nurse, who is a member of the Jehovah’s Witness religion. The same info would apply to that person.
The Watchtower article talks about how a good JW should follow his/her Christian trained conscience and be a snitch for "Mother". Hope this gives you an idea as to what you can do. Personally I don't see how any doctor/medical center (even lawyers, etc) could employ j-dubs if they knew what was written in the Watchtower about revealing confidential info required of their minions. Good Luck!

...hallowed be thy name.
thy kingdom come.
thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Sorry to have to be the one to tell you but you have the quote wrong...and when you see it the right way, then you will realize that Jehovah is not God's name. The actual quote is..."Our Father who is Art in heaven..." That's right, His name is Art. Now, go spread the word. My work is done.

i made an interesting find last evening.
i stumbled across a site purporting to be a jehovah's witness reform movement.
while it sees value in jehovah's witnesses, its primary purpose is to reform the governing body.
You can't reform a turd...you gotta bury it so the stink goes away!
