I don't have a degree (yet) But the place I worked at for the last 5 years was worse than any college I have heard off. Everyone was sleeping with everyone else and every friday and saturday were drunk fests.
i know of two jw therapists, one who is an elder.. so yesterday i was out in service (yea i know) and we saw another car group from another congregation in a parking lot.
so we all started to talk and see who knew who, etc.
do you know any other jw therapist elders out there?
There has to be someway you can report him. I'm not saying this because I don't like JW's. I am saying this because I go to a therapist and I wouldn't want him to go tell the catholics that I don't observe good friday.

The only thing is that they have to sign a form stating that if they have committed a wrong that the elders need to know about,
HIPPA should be notified of this right away. this is against the law!!!!!!!!!!!!

i never felt comfortable knocking on door and i hoped no one would be home.
my presentation was short and to the point because i did not want to get into discussions.
as we walked from "door to door" i secretly wished i could be like all the ones i saw in the nighborhood.
I was embarassed. I always hoped that no one would answer the door. I didn't learn about the fake doorbell ring until I got here to this forum. by then I wasn't going out in field circus anymore.
a letter was read at tonight's meeting announcing that the governing body has decided to stop work on saturdays at all bethels worldwide.
bethel workers are encouraged to now spend saturdays with their local congregation in field service.
the new arrangement goes into effect june, 2009.. what do you think are the motives for such a change?.
Hmmmm, maybe boost morale. No can't be that. Maybe this is the first step to kicking them to the curb.
i had a couple of pretty good ones, i thought.. my first one was theocratic news.
i know a lot of congregations that did this one.
we had a long table facing the audience, and we gave the "theocratic news" from the km as if it were a tv news broadcast.
Undercover... my mother has a phonograph and those crappy heavy records, where the judge is yelling/preaching. she used to play them when she would have bros and sisters over for dinner. I was so embarrassed.
We had one part on the service meeting where an elder giving the talk held up a banana and a MS (who wasn't the sharpest tool in the shed) ran up from the audience and grabbed the banana and ran out the side door, grunting like a gorllia all the way. I think the part had somethign to do with evolution. But the funny thing was this elder picked the MS who didn't yet evolve, completely.
after being away for 3 years i have agreed to attend some meetings with my wife who is suffering depression.
she has no friends except witnesses.
every meeting i get pats.......pats on the back during the damn meeting, elders and servants patting me on the back, mouthing "hello" giving me the thumbs up.....the last elder who did it, i almost stood up and punched him....i invented love bombing and they dare use it on me...me!
Next time someone pats you on the back tell them that you have a slipped disk in your back and when they pat you it hurts so please do not pat my back. Word will get around and they will stop patting you on the back.
