I am finding that many, if not all of the JW's have their OWN viewpoints that are contrary to what the Org. teaches. They associate with the Org. but when it comes to doctrine that is hard to take, such as 6 billion men, women and children dying, they soften the point. I think it is what keeps them going. I have had many discussions over the past few months. I have told a few that they are harboring apostate thoughts and according to the Org. if they disagree with a doctrine and share their thoughts with anyone, they ARE an APOSTATE!!! The fact that they will share this their views and discuss them with trusted family members is a GOOD sign.

Andi handled it exactly has she should have! Instead of allowing the elders to bully her, she threw them out and contacted a lawyer. GOOD FOR HER!!!!

An elder told the Book Study this week that the titles of the talks for the convention were enough to make your hair stand on end! Whatever THAT means!

Do you see your self remarrying?

given your past life experiences and your current enlightenment would you ever get into that level of commitment again?.

I entered my marriage at age age 18 with such childlike fantasy that I had no idea what the reality of marriage was. I was playing house. Thirty years later, I know what I want in a relationship and wonder if I am still living nothing but fantasy. Trust doesn't come easy. Fear puts up walls. That is the baggage of marital failure. My ex remarried recently. It took him less then a year from the date of our divorce to remarry. Is it easier for men? Most days I am happy as a single but loneliness can be a problem.

I was married 28 years. I have been single a little over two. I sometimes wonder what I would be like in another partnership. I was 17 when I met my husband, 18 when we married. I am now 48. I sadly think the best years are gone.

Cano Is The Tip Of the Iceberg
by metatron inis the watchtower organization filled with child molesters?
maybe not - but the cano incident should make us think about an allied problem,.
namely, general corruption and rot.. many years ago, it was not unknown to find strange photos and other materials in a bethel brother's room, after he died unexpectedly.. that doesn't prove that there is a massive problem with child molestation.

Yes, there are bad apples EVERYWHERE! When a person outwardly appears to be someone he/she is not and the truth is made known, it can be quite a shock on a personal level. Especially if the person is someone close or someone we respect. Whether or not there is a God who knows everything, to my knowledge, he doesn't wipe people out with a bolt of lightning for their evil.
The press and the internet informs us!

How much should a married woman show?
by greendawn indo you think a married woman should go out provocatively dressed?
some of my friends accept it some don't and one had big arguments with his wife about the issue until the time when he cunningly got her to become overweight something that spoilt her good looks.
think of it, a married woman going out wearing tight shorts showing so much leg and buttocks and a top that reveals too much breast, as if almost saying "i am going out to entice some men", should a dignified husband accept that?

"Guys come up to us and we send them packing". I like that! We all must set our OWN boundaries and limits for the kind of attention we will accept!

Brooke------I do NOT consider you an "attention whore", I just wondered if you were being truthful that you dress only for you! When I purchase a clothing item or adopt a clothing style, first I have to like it! But I would be lying if I didn't also consider my audience. Maybe it is I.......who is the attention whore and I am projecting! lol
Anyway, I saw and enjoyed the playful nature of your photo album.

By the way------TERRY has an avatar showing his bare chest. He knows he looks HOT in that picture. He admitted that he took that picture for a singles web-site. Is he seeking attention? Yes.
My point is, we expose ourselves for a reason. Married or single!
