by Sunspot inwhen i tried to log on early last night-i got the "guest" greeting rather than the "welcome sunspot" one.....and i tried more tan 20 times between then and this morning to get logged on as "me"!
for some unknown (to me) reason---i finally made it through the twilight zone and can post!
i've had all kinds of trouble with this computer for about three months and after all this i'm about ready to put it out to donate to the county dump!

Have you ever been marked?
by Dustin inwhen i first met my wife, she was not a jw.
i was baptized at the age of 12. to make a long story short, some of the other youths in the congregation followed my lead and took non jw boyfriends and girlfriends.
well the brothers decided to point me out specifically as i was the only one who cared.

when did you stop believing?
by cherryblossomgirl inthe light faded for me when i was twelve.
i asked my uncle what happened to all the people who couldn't be reached by the "truth" in far off lands, or little kids whose parents didn't believe...ect... "would they still die in armagedon?
" he answered yes, and from there on, whether it was bs or not, i couldn't believe.

THE WORST THING ABOUT THE BORG ??????????
by vitty inwhat was the worse thing while you where in the "truth".
for me, it felt that everynight was a meeting night, the relentlous pressure getting to the meetings.. for my husband, apart from the meetings, it was the never ending assiments.
for my teenage son, it must have been field service.

guilty or innocent???
by cherryblossomgirl ini lived with my aunt and uncle for ten years.
they were witnesses and so therefore so was i. my uncle was sexually and physically abusive to me and physically abusive to my aunt.
when my aunt and i went to the elders about the situation they turned the other cheek and made it our fault.
