  WT filters and why people don't see what's right in front of them

  many of us find it hard to understand why we didn't see/read/understand what was right in front of us all along.

  we get frustrated with those who are still in who can't see what we have discovered.. i think i just found a similar reaction.. i've been playing an on-line game called luxor.

  my sister and her husband finally told a elder friend of theirs why they have been absent from the meetings for all these months.

  ) our family has chosen to only use the 607 issue when dealing with the elders.

  because it seems to be the only issue they cannot answer!

  OK im a lazy b******d,

  has anyone compiled this info as a printable (easy to understand) page?

  I just want to get the idea so if it comes up i can make a few points about it.

  I never fully got the grasp of the 607 calc.

  I would just find going into indepth study about it mind numbingly boring. and Im a bit too busy at the mo'

  no reward?

  i'm hearing lately, and it's not the first time i've heard this, that some elders believe the idea of paradise earth should be downplayed, or even abandoned.

  they have tried to discourage different ministerial servants i know from focusing on the paradise earth doctrine in passive agressive ways.

  i was thinking this is probably either some elder's idea of being super righteous, ie they would "serve" for no reward, no promise of life everlasting in paradise, or maybe these elders are beginning to doubt?

  I dont see a need for them to change this, unlike the generation teaching theres no looming threat to it and anyway its a good hook. I think as long as they are hiding behind 'god' they will always have diehard fans following. no matter how much they stuff up or the blatant proof they are wrong is out there, itll be put down to human error or some other brain blocker by loyals.
