The NHL really needs to upgrade its product to compete with the other major pro sports. They NEED a salary cap. That would enable the smaller market teams the ability to compete with the big boys. I always find it stupid how the smaller teams just give away their best players right before the trading deadline every year. They also need to make some rule changes to make a better flow to the game on T.V. How are you going to attract new audiences when your product isn't presentable? Also a marketing campaign to reinvent the game and create a buzz would help. The first thing they need to do is establish Wayne Gretzky as the commisioner. At least everyone knows who he is, and he's the most respected player of all time.

Yes, every day. I wish I didn't though. I wish I never was taught anything about Jehovah. I don't believe in that God. I hate him everyday more than the previous. I don't know if I believe there is actually a God out there who cares. I doubt it.

Did you lie before getting married in the KH?
by Samuel Thorsen inas you know every young couple who is planning to get married in the kh are asked a question about "clean conduct" a week or two before the wedding.
if you admit to have been fooling around to much you can forget about the kh and go and get married elsewhere.. i'm not married myself, but i was engaged to be married once and my soon-to-be father in law (an elder) recommended a certain elder to do the marriage stuff in the kh because he was a kind of easy on the mantadory questions.. fortunatly in never got that far because me and my girl split up about 2 months before the planned wedding, but i have been to a lot of kh weddings and i know for sure that some of the couples had to lie to cover up their conduct to get married in the hall.. but how common is this?.
did you lie before getting maried in the kh, or do you know someone who did?.

I got married in Vegas. I wasn't allowed to get married at the Kingdom Hall. That's what hapens when you were marked for awhile. Besides, I would have had to lie about some stuff.

we can put together a celebrity panel of judges- co's, do's, governing body member.
the winner then gets a recording deal to sing the melodies on a nationaly distributed cd that will be handed out in a special witnessing campaign.

Gretchen, it's just a joke. I saw an American Idol commercial, and I just found one of my old songbooks the other day while cleaning the garage. The idea just formed in my overactive immagination. But c'mon think about the train wreck that T.V. show would be. M.J. as a special guest judge. That would be golden. Nothin like watchin innocent people crash and burn during a performance to crush their ego into dirt.

Do you think of yourself as an apostate
by barbar inmany of the people on this site say that they are apostates.
but that is not the way i feel about myself.. i am not angry with the "witnesses" or the organisation, i don't feel that i wasted my life.
i just think that i was stupid to believe it for 30 years (well sort of believe it, i did have severe doubts on and off).
