Will the average age of Witnesses go up with time?

my parents go to a catholic church, and they say that the average age is in the 60's.. at the kh, the average age is about 30, if you calculate the age of the children too.. theoretically, the average age of witnesses should go up with time .

if less and less people become witnesses, the average age should go up, just like traditional religions....no?.

You would think it would have to. There's definitely not as much fresh blood coming in, and a lot of the younger ones are leaving. I knoe the congregation where I used to go is getting very old.

i was thinking the other day, if i could choose to be an awesomely gifted basketball player, or an awesomely gifted singer/guitar player; which would it be?

in the end i decided i'd rather be a rock star.

better parties, and definitely more of a bad boy image.

It's also expected for you to get into trouble, so the better the party the more respect you get. What do you guys think, Rock or Jock?

Describe Yourself Without Being Revealing.

as i told kl, i'm not sabotaging her thread, mine has a twist, for example, my wife 'descibes' me best by always reminding that i'm not 'normal.

' this means i do things differently than the ordinary person as i'm into many activities.

many of these activities involve people.

I'm always there, but always go unnoticed. I'm a deep thinker, but rarely share my real thoughts. I'm extroverted but don't really show people who I am. I'm usually happy and funny on the outside, but I'm really very sad deep down. I'm a good rock singer, and have found that to be the outlet for my emmotions. Most of all I would have to say I'm still confused about life, when I should already know many of the answers.

sadly, i miss very few.

Not anymore. I realized that true friends will be there no matter what happens in your life. Therefore I realize I had no true JW friends, only acquintances, and those come and go. So I went out and tried to make new friends. Thanks to this board it looks like I've made some new ones.

if they made a movie about your life among the jehovah's witnesses, and you were the casting director for the movie and money was no object, who would you cast as the members of your congregation; your elders; their wives; the circuit overseer; yourself?

remember, this is a fantasy, so you can have anyone in your cast, alive or dead.. i think robert deniro could play a very good circuit overseer.. i always thought ted knight would make a good elder, especially the one i am thinking of who always put his foot in his mouth on stage.. i haven't thought of who should play me.. how about you?.

I want to be played by "The Rock". I want to be all muscular and stuff. I want this story of my life as a JW to be all about fantasy. I want to be a total player. I can hook up with a hot sister played by Selma Hayek. Then we get disfellowshipped for having sex before marriage. It would also be found out that I was having an affair with the CO's wife. She can be played by Jennifer Lopez. That would be my movie.
