It's just dishonest to call it an education in science when it's not grounded in reality atheist, that's all. If it had some credibility I wouldn't even waste my time arguing against it. That arguements for that article are just plain bad also. The creationist act like the study of evolution is going toward some end all conclusion to disrupt the peace of religious people. It's not, it's just information about the different ways things react and evolve over time, that propose possibilities of different things that could be the reason for these occurances. On the otherhand. Creationism is comes straight from the start of evolution to bring it down so it won't contend with biblical or other mystic teachings. It molded to fit and try to counteract evolution's claims as if evolution is a group of traitors out to ruin something. It's just information. Wish I had some evidence on hand to back my claims up but from observation this seems to be the case. Creationists started the war against an abstract idea and now they claim they're victims.

Me personally. When I was still believing in JWism, me liking another JW girl helped me to disbelieve in the doctrine (like many other things). She was depressed, her hair was falling out because she was so stressed, and nobody did anything to help her other than, "Go to the meetings and do all you can do". Just seeing that to a girl that I was highly infactuated with made me angry.

Eh my mom just reinforced the ignorance that comes from blind acceptance. "Oh look at all that magnetism going to work, there must be a God." No evidence, no statistical debates to back up her claim, no hundreds and hundreds of tests to figure out if her answer is the truth or not. Just a claim. Much like a scientist on the Discovery Science channel said. "If you choose to ignore these accurances (Photons making light, magnetism from the sun) , They're Magic!" Can have all the opinions you want, but can't choose to facts.

I feel that it should be added in, but it's deceptive and just plain wrong to give kids (when they are forced to go to school) information that isn't based on facts. That just doesn't seem right with me. I feel that schools should give the beliefs of creationism from every religion's viewpoint but in the context that none of this has any substance lol. Of course I highly doubt this will happen since many teachers will take it into their own hands and start preaching it like it's from Darwin himself. Ah well just to keep it safe, i'd say no.

I am indeed seventeen. Don't worry I get it all the time. I guess I can make up words well eh. And Qc, Abbadon has brung up all types of evidence to back up his claims. And if you still feel he hasn't, well you're in the exact same situation as him since you can not give any conclusive evidence for your cause either.

tijkmo. I suggest reading as much as you can about everything you can. You're actually at a point that can be envied because you now have a pretty much blank ticket on many things. And you can hopefully share things with other people. AA was a little upfront with his argument. But in arguments that's what happens. However, arguments are needed, they further the understanding of humankind. If you start researching these and other subjects you will be unstoppable. It's never over. You can be 90 right now and still start a new life and live if well. Start studying about cults, religions, the arts everything you can think of. Then it will be pretty hard to break your defenses when you have a life based in reality.

For the most part, the reason why a lot of people can swing from one faith to another is because their "facts" and beliefs can be shattered at the snap of a finger. If an elder rapes you, this can lead you to a period of questioning and not believing in what you have been taught. Just like that, all your facts have been thrown off the face of your planet.
When your facts are observable and happen consistently with your life. You've tested these observations with experimentation and found that it happens throughout all of your experiments, I think anybody would agree with me that we can consider this as fact. If you look into evolution and study it you will find these observations and experiments. You can even test them out yourself, you just have to look. Experiements this fundamental is almost immpossible (in our universe at least) to shatter and that is a much better groundwork than something that can't be proven or even tested.
This is why there are cults, this is why there is racism. Many individuals are too impatient to solve their problems with reality, they need scapegoats so they can stop worrying about the answers. This as most people would agree, hopefully, leads to a dangerous unrealistic personality.
To sum it up, base your claims in reality. Something that you can pick up and support your claim with. It very hard to shatter something everybody can see.

I'm so apreciative of these brave women talking about their experiences. It needs to be publicized more so people can learn how to relate to people that have been in cults.
