No JWs in sight....what happened to them?
by kid-A ini have been living in my new house since november.
i have been home every weekend, saturday and sunday mornings.
i live in a big city, in a densely housed area.. there has not been a single jw door-knocker this entire time!!!!

I have wondered where they all are... I moved to Dallas in 1999...never had one witness at my door...I worked with one but she NEVER witnessed to any of us (except to state why she would not join in the Christmas party).
I moved back home in 2003. I went on the standart swedish maternity leave of 480 paid days off. I have been home almost EVERY day the last year and a half....no one has knocked... No magazines or tracts left to be thrown away.... It is quite nice!

If it was legal, would you have more then one spouse?
by free2beme inoften what we accept in society, is based on how and where we were raised.
for example, in some countries it is okay to have more then one spouse and arranged marriages are how you marry.
often we take these examples, and others that happen elsewhere, and label them as just wrong.

Wow. With every post from you, I become more impressed with the level of maturity you have attained for only being 17+. You really know your self, and what you want. Sounds like you have thought this through completely. I went the DA route myself. I have never regretted doing so. (Losing my mother and several family members in the process) But I feel like it was the right thing to do. I don't care for hypocrisy, and could not live a lie any longer. Best of luck.
