Why don't you read the above link. Seems to me that most Christians don't think that faith and religion are polar opposites.

Well, I am the master of sarcasm. Sarcasm doesn't come out well on the internet, does it?

No inner peace for me!
I am a wretched person, who would better serve society by dropping dead so that my constant negativity is not beamed upon others.

SQUAMISH/CKNW(AM980) -- Fish are dying along the Cheakamus River, after a train derailment north of Squamish.
The Environment Ministry estimates 41,000 litres of the chemical “caustic soda” has spilled into the river.
Brian Klassen took a look after hearing about the derailment, and says the signs are apparent even 15 kilometres away. "You can see juvenile salmon gasping, spinning under the water, there's obviously something seriously wrong with them, very lethargic, some of them had what appeared to be burn marks on them. We also observed significant numbers of dead fish, when I say significant, you know, you wouldn't have to look very far to find dead fish."
The CN train derailment of nine cars happened a little after seven in the morning, about 30 kilometres north of Squamish.
And here is what the Cheakamus looked like, I wonder what it looks like today. (have to watch the 11:00p news):

Question
by 5thGeneration in.
why are the seventh day adventists growing faster than jw but we still boast 16 billion (something like that) hours in field ministry as being so important and proof that our work brings so many into the truth?.

It's all b/c of the wacky, wacky WT theology.
The majority wouldn't believe you when you say "Jesus has already come... invisibly."

Who are these people? Amnesian? bjc2read?
by gringojj inok we have recently had some people starting threads about the bethel couple and watchtowerfarm.org.
of course if this is a fake, then we have to wonder what is the motive behind it.
i may be looking into this too much but i looked at the 2 people who started posts on this subject.

Well, some people don't post very much. As in these boards are just a passing interest.

Christian answers to the Atheist Bible: Presupposing your beliefs
by Rex inhere is a very insightful article from ken ham....at the end is my own testimony in capsule form.
when the person you talk to on creation insists that you leave the bible out of it, they are really saying the deck should be stacked one way.
(my note: you've heard it this way, "religion does not speak on science at all.

Ugh. Not true. Just not true. They start from a position of neutrality, and make conclusions based on empirical evidence that is observable and testable. A true scientist is simply neutral to metaphysical propositions.
EVERYONE has bias. Some are less biased than others, but you can never get a simply neutral study, even in science (moreso when you consider who funds it).

It's all crap guys.
Well, I thought the Ehrman book (in the link) is a pretty good treatise on the subject.
