So I started off As if I were going to make a photo message saying "I love you." My daughter made one for me once and I loved it and I thought it was a great idea. Then I got distracted. And the idea morphed. So I thought ooh...I should take a photo for the photo thread. ...

Then I thought to myself that I should stay on track and stick to the subject and record the video I meant to record from the start. I wanted to explain why I dropped off myspace and facebook and what I was up to. So I had better just get busy.

Then I thought to myself, "What the heck are all of these conversation boxes showing up at the bottom of the screen? Can people see me doing this? Did I pick at my nose? OMG! Do I look Like a Goof or what? Can they see me?"

Well I think people could see me. I get this really stupid feeling that somehow people I was logged into some program that let people see me sitting here, drinking beer, primping and smoking, being a bit on the girli side and well I feel really stupid. So I may as well post some of the pictures and the video and get it over with. Lawrdy. What a giant boob.

Here is my message. I was able to get it to play with Windows Media Player. And here is some of the goof pics.

My folks didnt come to my wedding either babe, infact they literally had to be dragged to my first wedding when I did marry a JW

I am sorry it was like that for you too es. I don't understand why it is like that for some. I think this religion just messes up the natural love that should be there. I tell you what, I can't imagine missing my kids wedding. You know? And to tell you the truth, I really am relieved my family is not going. It would sadden me more and make it all awkward. I asked the two that are here and got a big no, and pretty much a no on the other one. The only one I am sad won't be there is my brother.

The important peeps will be there and for that I am thankful. (Six being the main one of course) Then the inner family.

And I am really excited anytime I get together with all of you. As someone just told me, it is like a big family.

thanks for sharing this book with me.

although i'm sure this book is accurate and these things have happened within the governing body, it did happen a long time ago and even the "annoited" are imperfect men.. after alot of thought and prayer i chose to stay a witness- an active witness to my ability which is now limited.

PurPs, I am sorry it did not go as you had hoped. I am happy though that she read it. Sometimes it takes a while for things like this to digest. You know. (Plant a seed) That thing they always told us. Well that seed of doubt is planted. And sometimes it grows. You know that. You never know.

I know I did not hold my tounge with my mom about the JW's last week and now despite the fact I help take care of her, my mom told my brother she does not want to see me. That she should not associate with me. He told me to show up anyways. She is crazy and does not have a choice. We will just have to see how it goes.

But for you I truly feel. Your mom sounds like she is a reasoning woman and not like mine. Perhaps she will hear you yet. In the meantime do not let it get you down. Take photos and share them with her. Always let them (your family) know that they close the doors. Not you. That if they choose to change you are right here waiting. They just need open thier eyes. Hang tough girl. Enjoy that baby!
