  it's almost impossible for anything someone does to be about anything except them...not necessarily bad, but true.

  we can only truly see things from our point of view...period.. being broke is better when you are with friends.. there are real people here.

  know that at all times.. sometimes you have to be there for someone when it isn't convenient...do it anyway.. frostbite hurts...bad.. pay attention at all times...this thing (life) moves really fast and a little screw up can turn into the mother of all clusterf*cks in a split second.. i don't know sh*t.. .

  bisous~ well seems to me like I don't have a damn thing to concentrate on right now. lol

  Not much can be controlled. lol Pretty much it all seems so out of my reach. I think about it, actually (now that I am stopping goofing) there is a whole warehouse of things I am taking control back over. and you are right. Not much I can do there. Just hope he does not grab hold of it too much.

  FHN~ I heard this from his mom who is way out of the borg. She said he really likes the people and told her they were so nice. He came back from his weekend with a Great Teacher Book and a NWT.

  I was happy to hear that his new girlfriend is so upset about it that she was crying and stood up and did not let him force my (ex) stepdaughter into going. Poor baby stood firm and said she "would not return to the hive!."

  but only if a judicial committee tells him to.. if they say i'm inactive and let me be, he can still talk to me.. it's meaningless, because i would never meet with a jc, but he let me know where he stands.. he's dead to me.. i'm not hurting.. lost tons of respect for the man.. i told him he was brainwashed and left him without saying goodbye.. to no longer live for his approval was liberating, but this is even better.. i told him that i couldn't do that to my son.. his response?.

  unconditional love is a lie.. you only get unconditional love from a dog.. sick, brainwashed, emotionally bankrupt man.. p.s.- not looking for cyber hugs.

  Hi NVR.

  It never ceases to amaze me when people are able to dispose of others as if they were a recyled cup. Just like that. I think with so many people walking out of my life, I have come to often feel disposable. I am looking for a new breed of people now, ones that don't take others for granted. I do still believe they are out there.

  Damn that religion that taught so many to love conditionally. I always joke that it is as if they say, I will love you forever, till tomorrow. Each day I am sure a good portion of us here have to deal with the fact that most everyone we knew loved us conditionally. Then the sad thing is, we have to break the habit of being drawn towards people that treat us the same. And then if raised a JW, we probably have to take some of that out of our personality.

  Ian (Dansk) in hospital with CMV

  hi, everyone ---.

  claire asked me to let the board know that ian is back in the hospital and expected to be there for about a week.. those of you who have been following the weekly vigil thread know that his cmv has returned.

  the virus is not responding adequately to the tablets, so ian needs to be medicated intravenously.. please keep ian and claire in your prayers.. marjorie.
