yesterday i suggested subtly that i go with my mother and step-dad to their special meeting today.
for all you who don't know what that is, it's like the one day special assembly but even more "special", only certain congregations get to go each year, and it's specifically just for members, not really open to outsiders, and it usually contains "important information" for them on updates and the like.

Tenacity. My strong point. My weak point. But it has been about 10 years of hunting on and off now. I hope he does not give me the same stupid speach I gave him last I spoke with him. I was newly reinstated for the second time and he was on his way out. I let him down so badly. told him to talk to the elders....they DF'ed him. I have alsways felt SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO bad. I miss my friend. I wonder if he is OK. Really OK. You know?

Who is your favorite animated cartoon character?
by gaiagirl inmy favorite would have to be marvin the martian (first appearance 1948).
everything about him cracks me up, from his roman gladiator helmet and kilt, to the way he walks and speaks ("that makes me angry, very angry indeed"), to the ultra cool devices he uses (suprisingly, from acme, who apparantly has outlets on mars).
a very close second, almost a tie, would have to go to droopy (first appearance 1943), who also walks and speaks in a humorous manner, and who has abilities far beyond what would be expected from his dimunitive size.

METH. It is every where and like a plague

I have lost some of my closest loved ones to meth. There is no getting them back. I have known one person who got off of it and is still verified clean. It will ruin your life. Not something to mess with or think you will use a bit and then stop. It will NOT let you go. It breaks my heart as I watch one of my loved ones as he sits for his 49 or so year term because of what meth drove him to do.
Hell if your own child MUST try something...you'de have a better chance of them surviving if you gave 'em a bottle of poison. It does not mess about and now that the cold medicine used is locked behind the counter....it is oober paranoia. They have added something that intensifies the mess and the person gets extreme paranoia worse than before. They might as well just shoot themself. The best people are lost once this is used.

HELP....My Daughter Has FLEAS!!!

i have tried olive oil, tea tree oil, flea shampoo and now mayo with tea tree oil.. they are so small it's hard to tell what they are but i saw them the first time she came home and they were big sand fleas.
she had gone to the beach the week before and then when the school did a head lice check they told her she had fleas.

Aw hell!! I just went through that lice from school and fleas. . Um lice, get some RID. Wash and comb completely as directed...and do it again in 10 days. Scrub EVERYTHING IN THE HOUSE. Wash all blankets and bedding. Spray the matresses and pillows with the RID spray, Do it again with all bedding and couches etc in ten days. Maybe call an exterminator. I about went broke trying to bomb myself.
Or try this ....um called something like blah blah diazonine earth. I can never remember. DO not buy from the pool section. Must get the gardening kind. VERY carefully put it around house cracks creaveces (sp) it is powdery and will fly up. Do not inhale. It can cause lung pnemonia. (again sp) anyhow....a turky baister can do it. Do not poof it up into the air. Then leave it there. Also, I heard you can put a bowl of water in the dark under a lamp light with a few drops of dish detergeant and it will draw them in the night. Never tried, but it is said to work.
Any soap kills the critters. Not so much kills, but softens the shells so they cannot survive. Lysol...Hot water on the laundry and I even put it into the laundry for the first run through. Gotta do it all at once and do it well...10 days later...do it again.
Boil all combs in bleach,, hair doodles and what not...
It sucks
If your kids are in public schools...one day or another...your gonna get it.
Don't worry it will pass.
