What does an aardvark eat? What does it taste like? Does the dung really need sauteed? I know you did not address me with this statement, "You would be better off eating sauteed aardvark dung." But seriously, I am sitting here laughing myself silly, wondering if you have ever tried it. Truly a scavenger creature might have some high protein dung! You may be on to something Hillary!

With a 16 year old myself, these crack me up. Number one is one of my pet peeves. So, now they all come in and say hello to me and if they are to leave with her they need to have her back when I said. Now the girls seem to let her slip through their hands and it is odd, all the boys have helped and been nothing but respectful as far as getting her back here when she runs. In fact one pointed out the druggies house and took me there even when it required him talking to the police and getting him in really hot water with the druggies house. He said this is no place for her. Now how he knew about it, I did not ask, he just mentioned that it is not a good place and he avoids it NOW.
I figured for his help that he deserved a small break. I did make a table full of thugs some waffles and tried my best to keep my cool. they all gave her what for this last time when she came home and each approach my door different they ever thought of last year. More respectful and most assuredly don't honk out front.

I cannot stand them. They are just so very gross. In fact I don't really like bread products at all. I am sure it is strange because I can make some really great bread and donuts, but I don't like them myself. Lately, I have stuck to veggies, fruit and fish and chicken. I can't stomach a hamburger anymore. Once in a bit I will try, and get sick. Same with donuts. If I do have one, it has to be old fashioned cake. Maybe chocolate cake with chocolate fudge type frosting. But that is few and far between.

Hey there Hortensia. It may have taken me a long time to get to this point with my mom, but she was pretty cool in some areas. Like what you said here, "We pulled a cart and we were allowed to check out as many books as we wanted. She never checked to see what we were reading, so I read all sorts of things." She was that way. I could read all that I wanted. Strange to see her now in a nursing home an working on a coloring book. It is a bit odd. She has started this group that is not JW based and they keep her active and kind of work like therapy. She is so VERY different with my kids than she was with me. Odd, how she has made great strides as regards to them. If anything JW comes up, she kind of just backs away from me. Quiet about it, but she really is upset about the apostate thinking. lol

I need some input (Migraines)
by Tired of the Hypocrisy indoes anyone know of any documented proof that long hair causes migraine headaches?.
the reason i ask is because my 16 year old son has this head full of curls.
he also has what we believe to be bad migraines.

OK this isn't Sparkplug, it's Persephone. I'm over at Sparkplug's.
My daughter has the thickest hair I've ever come across. A pony tail about as big around as your wrist. At one point it was almost to her waist and she has NEVER had a migraine.
I've heard that migraines and TMJ can be caused by stress. Not trying to be disrespectful, but maybe ole grandpappy needs to get off the kid's booty about his hair and focus on what could be the real issue....Perhaps the stress of not being accepted for who he is by the people who should love him unconditionally? Just sayin'
