NOTE: ONLY USE DRY ERASE MARKERS
My son and I decided to try writing on the mirror in our bathroom with dry erase markers and we had so much fun. We traced our faces/cups/sink fitures and ect. When you trace, close one eye so you can get a good control of where you want to trace. The marks come right off with a tiny bit of toilet paper and is keeping him (and me) entertained for hours.
Now I'm trying to get him to go to bed but he's not wanting to stop...lol...and this is from a kid who hated to draw.

Oh, that's right, I forgot....having children in the first place is a sign you're not spiritual enough.
I think the CO that said the "3 F's" may have said them because it sounds "good to the ear" and so there wasn't much thinking in there like most things are with the Borg.

Hm...so being in the throes of labor about to give birth is not a good enough reason either...what a bunch of crap!
No MrsJones...that doesn't count because then the little tyke can instantly start receiving the "needed" spiritual food when they enter into this world. This reminds me of a pioneer sister telling me a story of her elderly friend that went to the meetings even right when she was very close to death so she wouldn't miss a single meeting. She told me that they rolled her in on her "death bed" ( I kid you not) and finally passed on that week. I was so sick by that comment that I said "well, that's not going to be me!" She looked shocked like as if I was the devil. Hmmm, come to think about it, maybe the elderly died of boredom. (oops, sorry that was mean)

Anyone else here with ADD/ADHD?
by proplog2 ini have had this problem all my life.
i have a child that also has it.
since people with adhd have a problem fitting into organizations do you think it may be one of the reasons why you just couldn't take the jw's any more.

At first glance this site is so anti with the thought so it will make it seem so negative. Again, I don't have time to review it in detail so I will when I get back.
Have a good day all!

Well, sickoflies...you do bring up a good point that the drug industries push things but I have to also realize that bi-polar patients are much better when they use meds and are not trying to kill themselves. I also seen a result in my son not trying to hurt himself.
Do I believe that people should result to meds on a whim...no. I think that if you've exhausted all options then a person should look at maybe the meds options.
Just like if you or I have a stomach ache...we will try to make it better without major changes...but if it's an appendix...it's an appendix. Appendicitis is a life threatening situation; and so can bi-polar/or ADD.
You "choose your battles"...if ADD/bi-polar/mental becomes a situation that is harming a person then this may be time to change things. If therapy/Dr's/talking/what-have-ya/ doesn't work and meds do, then meds would be better than a physically damage person and then the mental problems can be worked on.

http://www.webmd.com/add-adhd/guide/attention-deficit-hyperactivity-disorder-adhd-exams-and-tests
Here is a link as to what they did to my son.
They did do the complete...physical test (including eyes and ears), medical tests to make sure there was no "lead" and the whole works because I didn't want to admit my son "might" be ADD. They finally did do the "written" test which included the teacher doing a separate test, parents doing a separate test, therapist...and so on...all coming to the same conclusion.
I can either allow my son to jab pencils into his skin/pull chunks of hair out or put him on a particular medicine to help him deal...I choose the latter since I didn't want to see him self mutilate himself.
