  so this cheeko thing has gotten me really depressed.

  i decided to created a new support forum.

  it has been very therapeutic.

  does anyone know of a forum i can go to to get lots of support?

  cheeko's death has hit me pretty hard.

  i'm looking for a forum for ones who have lost close pets.

  this is dave, stealing one of gina's topics.. please send your positive thoughts to gina, one of her birds died today.

  she has several birds, a yellow-nape amazon (big parrot), an african gray (snuggle bird), a starling (saved as a fledgling), two cockatiels (think largish yellow parakeets), and two doves.

  cheeko was a green-cheek amazon, a smallish parrot.

  Slow to help....Quick to punish!

  ok...thought this was interesting.. mom called this morning practically begging me to go to the jc meeting that's coming up this weekend.

  i explained that i had asked 6 different elders to get a study started with me within a span of 4 years because i was "feeling weak".

  each time i asked for a study i would say "i need help because i'm losing faith".

  To fade or not to fade--Judicial question.

  i just got off the phone with one of the elders.

  they said that if i do go to the jc and ask them to help me understand why they believe certain stuff and then ask for a study i will probably not get df'd.

  i can "bow" down to them and do their little game if the results would help my family.. i love my family very much.

  gina really thinks on her feet!

  when she met with her parents, she brought up the infamous "walsh case" in crisis of conscience, where the watchtower higher-ups (including fred franz) had to give embarrassing testimony under oath about the watchtower's controlling methods and tactics.

  her mom called her this morning (the day after we told her we were going to be df'd soon) and said she wants to see everything gina's done research on.

  <sigh> ok...it's hitting me that mom won't see the misleading, mind controlling, manipulative ways of the wt.

  i'm frustrated.

  i have a packet prepared for her consisting of the blood issue, birthdays, united nations, false prophecy and a copy of the transcript of fred franz saying that it's members have to obey even if they are wrong.

  Transcripts of the Walsh case

  does anyone have an idea on how i can get the transcripts of the "walsh case" of 1954 that is mentioned in the 'christian freedom' book?

  if it's possible to get it from the keeper of records of scotland site that would be cool.

  i've written to them but i haven't heard back from them yet.
