Huh? A bunch of women married to one man don't make more babies. There is still only so many women, they can only give birth so many times whether it's a shared sperm donor or your own personal sperm donor. Roughly 50% of the population is female, hooking them all up to one man doesn't speed up population growth.

As a gung-ho teenage Witness I set out to read the whole Bible. ; I made it as far as Sodom and Gomorrah, when I literally threw down my Bible in disgust at Lot's incest episode. ; ; ; ; ; ; Yeah right- the greatest story ever told. ; I wonder why they left that one out of My Book of Bible Stories?

I remember bringing up this story and here's the explanation I received--"Things were different back then." If I hear THAT one more time......

Can you imagine a book of bible stories made from all the horrible incidents in the Bible?! Geez!

yesterday (monday) i was off school and work, and i told my mother i would go out in service.

so monday morning i got up, got dressed, drove to the hall, and there was no one there.

i fell asleep in my car while i waited, woke up to wave at a brother, then fell back asleep, and then woke up, looked around and left.

Farm Joke

a rabbi, a holy man and a (retired school teacher) elder were in a car together when the car broke down alongside a farm.

knocking on the door they asked the farmer if they could stay the night.

the farmer said he only had two extra beds so one of them would have to sleep in the barn.. the rabbi volunteered and went to the barn as the others found their beds.

all i know is that jesus said to get baptized.

he didn't say in what religion though.. although i don't go to meetings anymore and don't plan on going anymore, i'm still glad that i was baptized.

Circuit Overseer Celebrities?

i am a active jw, but one question i would like to know is why do these 'men' get treated as superstar celebrities when they attend the congregation?.

for as long as i can remember, there seems to be a 'buzz of excitement' when it is announced that he and his wife are due to visit.

what is so special about them?.
