I'm sure my husband has it! I wish he would get help--maybe then I wouldn't need medication!

What Was YOUR Worst Quality As A JW?
by minimus infor me it had to be that i was trained to be judgmental.
i'm naturally a person who doesn't believe everything someone says---just because they say it's true.
still, a "good elder" is supposed to be watchful of what might "contaminate" the congregation.. so, it's time to bare your soul.

I was picked on for being shy, too. Was told I needed to widen out--it was my own fault if I had no friends!

I was gonna say "normal"
Funny--I felt dead inside when I was going to the meetings!
What if you start going again, are you resurrected?

I noticed that my morning glory seeds have sprouted! HURRAY! I mostly have flowers--hibiscus--angel trumpets-- brugsmansia--impatiens--a rose bush that finally bloomed-- I do have a mini tomato planted in a pot. I have some different passion flower seeds that I still need to try!
I also have some flowering shrubs I need to plant.

Show-down with elder at the kingdom hall
by Hobo Ken inthis is podcast 8 in the death or obedience series.. this was recorded on christmas day 2008.. after our last visit from two local elders my wife felt she could no longer be known as a jehovah's witness and had chosen to disassociate herself in november 2008.. we had been on a family holiday and had returned to find that one of the local elders who had visited us had warned off my mother-in-law from having anything to do with my wife - her daughter.
he also made false statements about one of my children.. i decided to confront this elder at the kingdom hall.
this podcast is the recording of our conversation.. notice how he denies making such statements to my mother-in-law and falsely accuses me of teaching her beliefs contrary to jehovah's witnesses.. i ask whether it's a sin to no longer be a jehovah's witness?.

That elder is a liar and a weasel! ( I apologize if I offeneded any weasels!)
They never admit to anything--my husband was never an elder but, he uses the same tactics with me.

Also, Mammoths were covered in thick fur to keep out extreme cold.
Yeah-why did they have fur if the earth was tropical? Never thought about that. There are quite a few other furry animals, too!
