Interesting tidbit from a bethalite
by Princess Daisy Boo inso my "bethalite" sister calls me last night for a chat (now i must digress slightly and say that conversations with my sister are few and far between - we have very little to say to each other and any calls to each other are merely out of duty) .
after all the small talk, she tells me that she was doing stocktake in the tuckshop for a change instead of the usual housekeeping job that she is meant to do.
i ask her why and she tells me that all the dept's within bethal who keep a supply of products have to do a stocktake in preparation for the big courtcase on friday.

Double post. Anyways, I wonder if anyone has done any calculation as to how much the WTS shares are worth right now. I did some research and came with around $14.1 million. If they were smart they would sell them and get the money. From what I hear aren't they desperate right now selling some of their properties?

Does anyone know who James McCann mentioned in the Form 10-KSB is? In the filing form it states that he was the one who donated the shares to the WTS. I'm wondering if he was or still is a JW, in the Regtech website he is not listed as a manager and there is no mention of him. If you or your friends did buy shares of this company I don't think you did a good research on the company, their stock is nearly rock bottom at this moment and has been for at least 5 years or more.

Does anybody think the WBTS will ever 'ban' the internet?
by lfcviking inlets face it the wbts have an ever increasing fear & paranoia of x-jw websites like this forum where the wbts is exposed for all its dodgy business and people can find out things about the goings on with its members, its leaders & embarassing history of cock ups.
one day in a desperate attempt to put a tighter control on this they might make it an official 'ungodly act' to go online and put it in the same category as a 'secret sin' such as smoking or watching porn films.. any opinions on this anybody???.

About Wifi it is true that anyone can connect on someone else's Wifi. But that is only if the person is stupid enough to leave it open. I can go with my laptop anywhere with a Wifi hotspot and try to connect, but if its secured I won't be able to use it. Usually its just a simple setting that needs to be turned on. But if you're stupid enough to leave the connection open than that is your fault, learn how to setup things properly before buying it, or even better learn to read the manual. Besides to do this you don't need any ex-CIA techs or Israeli software, all you need is half a brain. But this is totally different than what companies usually do to monitor their networks. Every major company monitors their internal internet usage, e-mail and any files sent and received electronically, they have the right to do so and its a very simple thing to do. Firewalls monitor company internet usage plus it gets logged, e-mail servers can also setup different filters to log e-mails.

Wow Antonio I think you have seen too many Mission Impossible movies. jk. Some of these techniques are used by corporations to monitor their traffic and users, this is nothing new. But most of what has been posted is just not believable at all. All that stuff about them hiring ex-CIA and using Israeli software just sounds goofy and paranoid. Nowadays you wouldn't need any of that fancy stuff, you can pick any software program readily available at any computer store and most tech guys can install it with no problems. Also as has been pointed out already, what could they possibly gain from this. Me thinks some of you are more paranoid than them.
