  I like how you put the title "JW's have lost their minds..." to imply that all JW's do this at one time or another. Talk about sad how some hate others so much that they put a blanket statement on everyone. I guess next time there is a catholic killer I can say that All Catholics have lost their minds.

  Washington Mutual reverting to previous bad behavior after bail out by fed!

  i posted this on burn the ships' thread but there was a lot more going on so i think it was missed.. washington mutual was on the verge of of failing.

  the fed overnight comes in and promises to buy out all bad mortgage debt so that banks could free up credit and make their bottom line look better for the stock market.

  the stock market buys in and ups it self by 400 points.

  Credit card business are just that a business. They need to make money, and increased your limit so that you can use it and pay a higher monthly credit car bill. I don't think they got a bailout and said lets increase the credit limit! They increased the credit limit because that is what credit card companies do all the time. Anyways them increasing your credit card limit has nothing to do with them getting bailed out. They are in the business of offering credit, so they will continue to offer it no matter what. They are not going to stop offering credit cards or increasing the limit, it would be stupid really if they did that.

  Credit card companies raising your credit limit on a credit card is nothing out of the ordinary. Its how they make business, they want you to use that credit. My credit line increases all the time on my credit card, even though I don't use it. I have called my credit card company on several times and told them to stop increasing the limit. As such you can also call them and have your credit limit lowered.

  No manual turn off? There's a shut down option clearly on it. People who don't know about OS's or haven't spent time with it shouldn't make dumb comments like this. I have installed Vista 64 bit on my system, and its very stable and no problems. Of course if you are trying to run old software or hardware invented in the 1920, then don't expect it to work with Vista.

  Is this Big Shake-up the same as the Big news that has been posted on this site several times over a couple of years already. Fact is no Big news or Big shake up will change the WTS. One of the biggest thing to happen was the pedophile scandal that was kept secret for a while then finally released to the press and that hasn't changed anything.

  Getting the forum back on track

  recently we seem to have had a few different dramas and subsequent fallout on the fourm which i feel has detracted from its purpose.

  with this in mind we have decided that we need to bring the forum back on track and as such we will be clamping down on a lot of the aggressive / insulting posts which have begun to become the norm for a few people.

  we will also be clamping down on the paranoid assusation type of comments against newbies, if someone joins the fourm and you do not believe everything they post - so what, why do we need to hound them away with shouts of troll and fake etc, just ignore them if you dont beleive them.

  the story was kept hushed up, much as in any 'abuse' case that goes on in the wt world but, jws don't like anything to make the wt society look bad.. one jw woman out on 'the misery', reversed into and dragged down the street another jw woman who then broke both arms, ribs, pelvis etc.

  infact, she is lucky to still be alive.

  this horror was not announced at any kh in the country and kept quiet.

  Understood. But why would they have to announce it from the platform? Does that include injuries, lost people, going on vacation, or whatever else they need to announce from the platform. As far as not taking a brother to a court, that is pure baloney, I know plenty who went to court with each other.
