Wow. Reading the comments made by the JW's is sickening - literally - it makes me sick to my stomach.They are very proud of themselves, aren't they? I pity them. I despise them. I laugh at them. I just wanta smack'em!
That's the exact same way they feel about us in here.
Just like you said I have learned to live my life and forget about other people's lives, it doesn't concern me what they do.
well there was a show on tv last night--and i am a real tlc fan.. anyhow, you know the routine, 16 year old kid comes in, massive trauma, jw mom does not consent to blood.
as precious time is ticking away the dr. decides to try to get a court order.. bottom line, she is successful and saves the kid.
she goes into the hallway to apologize to the jw mom, who tells her something along the lines of "thank you so much for saving my son.

Actually this is a re-run, I already saw it. The doctor respects his wishes and somehow the patient recuperates with no problem. At the end the patient tells the doctor thanks for respecting his beleifs.

Looking back at the article from msnbc and it looks like a lot of posts in pro have come forward. Where are most of you that post here about them not doing anything, now is the time to let it know in this article that's written in a well known website. I only saw a couple of posts that some of you submitted, and yes I did post also for those that might ask.

I posted a comment but it isn't up yet.I can't speak for others, but many times I saw JWs in need and they never received any assistance from the congregation. It seems to me the only time JWs help anyone is when there's a potential for media coverage.
I can say that while I was in and any other JWs were in need the local congregation would help them. There was this family who lost their house due to a fire, the local congregation (myself included) rebuilt their home. I'm thinking that the WT as a whole does not come in to help the local needs that's up to the local congregations to do.
My opinion on this is who cares if they're not helping every house in need, at least they are doing some for the ones they know, which is the way it usually works.

i wanted a raven picture, but couldn't find one i liked...the parlor showed me one that i absolutely loved.. i'm getting this tattooed on my wrist...what do ya think of it?.
Or you can be real original and not get one. Nowadays seems everyone has a tattoo. The tattoo is basically the new mullet.

Deep down they disfellowship people for breaking the law as I said then break the law themselves when they feel like it.....such as trading and giving out drugs to those it's not intended for.Yes witnesses are people.....but this Organisation is different in how they handle their flock who are indeed......just people.

I agree with you. I remember elders who thought they were above everyone else, elders sons who got away with everything just because their fathers were elders in the KH. My own cousin who was a son of an elder got away with doing whatever he wanted, and he never got in trouble because of it. I got sick of it, so I decided it was time I turn the tables, I told them I was not going to let them run my life, I was the one in charge. It seem to have worked because since then they haven't bothered me.

I you'll read the side a a prescription bottle it says..." federal law prohibits the transfer of this drug to another person"If the witnesses obeyed the law as they boast of doing so well........they wouldn't be trading prescription drugs back and forth as they do so often. They disfellowship you for smoking a joint because you break the law.......but they borrow and trade pills like junkies. Bastards!
This is true about more than just witnesses. The thing is that we are trying to find bad things we can come up with so we can put them down, but deep down they are like any other group of people. They have problems like any other person in the real world, the thing is that the WT paints it likes they are the happiest people on earth, when in reality they are not.

When I was disfellowshippied 33 YEARS AGO I sought psychological help. The counselor I spoke with kindly showed me statistics on the number of Jehovah's Witnesses who were in mental institutions. This was before the mental institutions were summarily emptied by the Feds. Of those 'inside' professing a religion, Joe Hovah's Witlesses were numero uno on the list. A massively impressive number given the fact that JW's are such a tiny slice of the American pie, especialy back then.
Well, I have a friend who works in this field and he actually showed me statistics that completely reverses everything you're saying. Just goes to show you there's always a new statistic that can goes against a previous one.
