I would still be wary about this being a scammer. My girlfriend was looking for a dog and responded a craigslist add for a dog. They replied by asking for her personal information instead. Why don't you ask for their information and see if they give it to you? Tell them that you are just cautious about who you give out your personal information to.

flipper - You caught me again? I have no idea what that means. It does make a difference if the molester was an elder. In case you haven't noticed there are people trying to get that right so that they can give the RIGHT information out to the people who are still in. Sorry that I like to go in with the truth not lies made up by someone. Once again, Danny ADDED the words that he was still an elder and everyone just followed whatever he said without questioning it. I understand that some still are used to doing this since way back in the WTS, but its time to change. I'm glad we agree on the part that all molestation is wrong. Me sensitive about? Once again I have no idea what you're talking about. I just read the quote by Danny in BOLD letters, but when you read the actual article those words he BOLDED are not there. If you can't see that, then its you who is sensitive about it.

I hope he gets caught soon. But a question to Danny, you put your own words on the quote "He remains and elder in the congregation." When in the article it says nothing about that. I mean why go ahead and add in your extra words at the end making it seem like it was a straight quote from the news article when it wasn't? We all know you hate the WTs and what they stand for, but why lie?

by minimus insince the society has told the elders that they are basically on their own, why don't we give more thought to suing the elders-----not just the watchtower society?.
when i was an elder ii was very concerned that i might get sued and be liable in a lawsuit.
it was one of the reasons i didn't want to be an elder..

Yes, while most of the quotes can come from the WTS own literature, how far back are you going back for these quotes? 30-40 years? More? A long standing JW will say that things have changed for the better. Believe me if it was this simple by just showing them quotes and such none of us would have family members in the WTS. None of us would've faded away graciously as to keep that contact with family and friends who are still in.

Unless you have hard evidence, just printing pages from this forum won't work on a witness who has been in the truth for over 30 years. Their response would be, where did you get the information? As soon as you say the internet forum everything is going down hill. I have brought up the same things to my mother with no avail. I mean my mother would even go as far as saying that news site are apostate sites if they put the WT in a bad light! So if you're dealing with a hardcore JW printing stuff from this forum might not be a good idea.

Elder for 30 years, lost privelages due to WT Education policy

an elder who was serving for more than 30 years, faithfull to the organization at all means, has lost his privelage due to the wt education policy.
the reason was that he allowed his son to study at the university.

This is either a lie or a gross exaggeration of the facts of why the elder lost his privileges. I personally know an elder who sent his 3 kids to college. His oldest son even went to an out of state university and stayed in dorms. Not only that once his son got back and graduated from the University he was appointed as a ministerial servant.

JWs ATTACKED by PIT BULLS while Out in Service - Orlando News

the print article does not mention jws, but the tv news loudly and clearly said several times "jehovah's witnesses going door to door" were attacked by the pit bulls.
it was two "sisters.

Umbrella's are used also to shield the sun. Back in Puerto Rico a lot of people carry their umbrellas everywhere even when not raining due to the sun. Anyways why is that an issue? So what that she was carrying and umbrella? The main topic is the dog attack. Why bring something else to make it seem like they are weird in some way? Its like you're saying, even though they got attacked by the pitbull, she had an umbrella therefore it enticed the dog. Reading the story more carefully, you'll also see that the dog attacked the police officer. Of course that won't happen because most here are so bent and bitter in trying to turn every story into a vendetta. Like the first article Randy posted. What does that have to do with the original story of the pitbull attacking someone?

Elders reading coasters postings for judical reasons
by coaster inelders, please know my many dificulties for the past 16 years and the emotional toll it has taken on me.
i found this site at my doctors doctors direction as a place to learn and vent frustrations built up in me for years, and i am sorry some of the language was bad as the word chioce.
a two week inense manic high here with way more freedeom to spead just go me going.
