Should I admit to JWs that I am disfellowshipped?

i know about 2000 jws in sydney, and have 50 that are tax clients, so barely a week goes by without bumping into someone i know.

it seems that few of them realise that i am disfellowshipped because they talk freely to me.

last week i accidently sat next to an elder on the train and we engaged in small talk for over 30 minutes.. should i admit to these people that i am not a jw?.

However, the object of their fear do not YOU fear, neither become agitated. 15 But sanctify the Christ as Lord in YOUR hearts, always ready to make a defense before everyone that demands of YOU a reason for the hope in YOU , but doing so together with a mild temper and deep respect. 16 Hold a good conscience, so that in the particular in which YOU are spoken against they may get ashamed who are speaking slightingly of YOUR good conduct in connection with Christ. 17 For it is better to suffer because YOU are doing good, if the will of God wishes it, than because YOU are doing evil.

Just a thought to share, but once your eyes are opened to the truth about the truth, the Scriptures regarding the indentity of "unbelievers" takes on a whole new meaning to those related to us in the faith!

2 Corinthians 4:3-6

3 If, now, the good news we declare is in fact veiled, it is veiled among those who are perishing, 4 among whom the god of this system of things has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, that the illumination of the glorious good news about the Christ, who is the image of God, might not shine through. 5 For we are preaching, not ourselves, but Christ Jesus as Lord, and ourselves as YOUR slaves for Jesus’ sake. 6 For God is he who said: “Let the light shine out of darkness,” and he has shone on our hearts to illuminate [them] with the glorious knowledge of God by the face of Christ.

Praise JAH and JESUS everybody and I truly believe cyber prayers are answered from all over our cyber world and that it doesn't hurt to ask for extra doses of the Holy Spirit to hasten "healing", whether spiritually, physically or mentally! The "bestest" part is that it's FREE for the asking, 24/7!!

One person got baptized at Circuit Ass. today (powerhouse circuit)

just got a call from a friend who told me only one person got baptized today in a ciruit assembly in nyc.

this is in a powerhouse circuit that had tremendous growth 10~20 years ago but is now seeing a steady decline to the point that congregations are starting to merge because so many are leaving.

what could be the cause of this decline?

Just another thought, but most JW's will believe this to be a "sign" that the worldwide preaching work is coming to completion, with Jehovah's blessing, in spite of the fact that several billion fellow human beings have yet to be reached with their 1914 flawed "version" of the "good news". Matthew 24:14

Lots of Bethelites Not Happy With Downsizing

i had a long conversation last night with an old jw friend whose sister and brother-in-law are bethelites since the 1970s.

she is an artist, and he runs a small but important department there.. we were talking about the bethel downsizing (my friend was well aware of it), and i told him i figured his sister and b-i-l would be safe due to the fact that they are now in their 60s and have something close to 4 decades seniority.

but he said no, that they were worried that they would be asked to leave as well, sent into the circuit work or as special pioneers sent where the "need is great.".

FYI Brothers and Sisters:

The site's owner is "Al", a former e-watchman supporter and moderator, who now has "issues".

I truly believe Jah and Jesus are lovingly directing truthseekers in dire need of "healing" to brother Robert King's and brother Timothy Kline's websites for Scriptural answers to the WTS turning on the sheep in its care, in spite of "Al's" un-Christlike rantings.

I`m perplexed; What legislates for the gross lack of love?

i`ve been out of the org for a while now and im perplexed about why there is such a lack of genuine live in the cong`s.

when you think about it, they are taught to exemplify jc, they are taught to exemplify the 'god of love'.

the brothers are constantly encouraged at ms & elder meetings to deal with the brothers 'lovingly'.
