I'm sure they were epic!
I bet they were.
The poor elders probably filled up the margins of their Flock book with unspoken rules they are expected to follow when it comes to Jehovah's Witnesses who have molested children.

i was going through old email and i came across the below email from a former acquaintance of mine who is a jw.
when we were both jw's, we were both pretty liberal in our beliefs.
its quite interesting how cognitive dissonance kicks in, for many & not too much for others.
Were grasping for truth in the other areas sometimes needing brighter light as time goes on.
They will keep grasping and keep needing brighter light because they are listening to and following 7 false prophets

is this correct?
ever since the emblem-takers were given emeritus status as members of the faithful and discreet slave, have they been relegated to standard membership?
Are you putting any faith/belief in the Watchtower's false 2 class doctrine, fake second coming of Jesus in 1914 and crazy, illogical interpretation of Matthew 24:45-47?
Let's examine each Watchtower doctrine in light of Scripture:
1. 2 class doctrine...
There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope at your calling (Ephesians 4:4).
Every person in this age (the age of grace) is called by God. Many run when he calls, while others respond to His call.
Heaven is the eternal home of all believers. The paradise that Adam and Eve were created in is part of heaven and that's where all believers will eventually live. There aren't 2 hopes for believers. That is a lie the Watchtower came up with to segregate the rank & file from the elite laeders. That is why the leaders teach that anyone who begins obeying Jesus and drinks the wine and eats the cracker is mentally unbalanced...
On balance, that a few more chose to partake of the emblems is no cause for concern. Over the years some, even ones newly baptized, have suddenly begun to partake. In a number of cases, after a while they acknowledged that this was an error. Some have recognized that they partook as an emotional response to perhaps physical or mental strain. But they came to see that they really were not called to heavenly life. (8/15/96 Watchtower) page 31
2. The watchtower teaches that jesus' presence began in 1914 and the two witnesses came along in 1919. God's word says that the 2 witnesses come along immediately before the great tribulation so 100 years is not immediately before (Revelation 11:1 - Revelation 13:18).
3. Matthew 24:45-51 is a parable contrasting the differences between faithful and unfaithful believers. Nothing more, nothing less.
It is a shame that the Watchtower teaches falsehoods and an even bigger shame that 8 million people have bought into their lies.
i can't discuss my family history here in detail while i'm still fading, but suffice to say that i'm a third-generation witness.
my grandparents' generation of witnesses expected the end to come in the middle of the 20th century.
they led spartan lives and largely went without having kids, as they awaited the imminent new system.
Brother, why are you serving Jerhover with a date in mind?
Keep following da slave and reap eternal benefits for hawking their magazines.
for a while i have shaken my head after learning how jw's interpret (rather corrupt the meaning of) matthew 8:11. i thought it couldn't get any worse.
i was wrong.
the following is an extract of the march 2015 watchtower in pg 27. the writer is explaining the meaning of mathew 25:31-46. enjoy!.
Therefore, one of the primary ways that those judged to be sheep show kindness to Christ’s brothers is by supporting them [anointed brothers] in the preaching work .
BULLSHIT!
That's just another sneaky tactic to guilt Jehovah's Witnesses into buying more magazines from the society and give them away free of charge.
we live in democratic, not theocratic times.. churches no longer imprison, torture or execute.. cults have absolutely no authority over non members.
we don't have to obey.
we don't have to subject our selves.
I fear this is still playing their game of legalistic documentation.
They are all about legal requirements and ignore or don't understand the love and mercy that Jesus brought with Him from heaven.
I never received any certificate on baptism therefore i dont give one to go.
I did receive a baptism certificate.
Oh wait, that was from a Christian church after I had rejected the members of the Governing Body because they are false prophets.
But for those who have been harassed it could be a good idea.
It would probably make them feel better about themselves because the Jehovah's Witness cult strips people of their self respect and human emotions and feelings.
went to a methodist church christmas carnival today.
everyone was invited and welcome.
there was no watchtower mandated jw's in good standing only rule.
I came away very impressed by the people there, and that the Church didn't care if people were members or not. How different the way they showed love was to that of Jehovah's Witnesses. I thought several times how 19 years ago I would have been condemning this church and these people for this. Shame on the Watchtower for teaching us to hate & condemn good people and innocent fun like this.
Many churches of different denominations in my area have meaningful events during the Hannukah/Christmas season.
The other night I went outside for some cool air. A baptist church I have never heard of had left a big basket full of food, fruit, treats, pens, socks, etc. on my front deck.
The only explanation I can think of is that one of their members has been treating me at a center for people with a particular life threatening disease.
2 of the RN's there are members of my church, so anything is possible.
The love and concern Christians show others, no matter what they believe proves who Jesus' real disciples are.
The Watchtower society condemns organizations like Second Harvest for having televised donation drives during Christmas.
Those Watchtower assholes don't stop to think that such organizations can operate an entire year on what those donations bring in while the Jehovah's Witnesses are hounded year round by the Watchtower for MORE. MORE, MORE $$$$.
12 years for me and before i actually became a member, i looked at this site (jwd) for a few months..
Almost 10 short, meaningful, fulfilled years.
a dear old man, 81 years of age died the other day.
my family studied with his family in 1969 and the entire family left their beloved catholic church and became jehovah's witnesses within 6 months.the man was illiterate and unschooled.
still, he believed "the truth" and even when some of his kids left or got disfellowshipped, he persevered.
Sad.
Hello Grace!
Glad to see you posting again. we missed you, terribly.
so im at the meeting after its over and this elder says to me that god needs my voice because he, the elder, feels that my singing is not loud enough.
i did not tell him this, but singing just is not my thing.
he then went on saying how gods people are better singers than "the worlds singers".

I did not tell him this, but singing just is not my thing. He then went on saying how gods people are better singers than "the worlds singers". The elder asked me who I thought was a good singer and i told him i thought michael jackson had a magnificent voice. Then he asked me: "What if michael Jackson sung lies about your mother in his music. Would you not be upset?" After I told him of course he went on a rant about how christendom and churches sing lies about God and jesus, and that the Worst sounding voice in the congregation is better than the singers of the world in jehovahs eyes. Now what does everyone here think about this and are there any similar experiences?
He is a classic example of elders who have been drinking too much Watchtower kool aid.
What an idiot.
