if jesus were to look for a religious home close to the first century religious home he lived in i believe the witnesses would both negatively and positively fit the bill.

I can't find anywhere in my Bible where it says that God lies.
The WT literature is full of doctrinal changes they call new light but is really a flashing light ON and OFF
When I asked the elders what would happen to me if I joined a political organisation what would be the result. They said nothing because I had DA'd myself from God and Jesus. When I asked them if the same applied about the WT and its 10 year involvement as a NGO and that even a good BO friend of mine in Australia had appeared before the Au. parliament as an NGO official representing the WT did that mean the WT had DA'd itself they said wait on Jehovah and we'll get some new light on the subject.
I believe that Jesus is going to touch them in an upfront and personal way.

I suggest you call R Watters as I did. No criticism, no mud throwing. Just asked me to read Hebrews 1:1-6 in any version except the NWT.
Read your Bible. It has all the truth you will ever need.
I remember a few years back when a DO told me that a 'message of doom' would replace the 'message of a paradise'.
I didn't believe it then but I do now.
Why do you think the WTS is trying to shut us up about bringing their apostate beliefs to the light by means of the Bible and their own literature?

i found this forum googling my username, actually.

When I found out the things they teach are so distorted from what the Bible teaches I went through a period of depression and guilt. But after discovering their affiliation with the UN and that a brother I used to talk to a lot down in Australia even appeared before the Australian gov't as a NGO representative for the WT I figured what the heck and DA'd myself from the WT before they could call a JC on me for spreading 'apostate lies' about the Borg. I am now affiliated with 'Babylon the Great' and have finally found who really deserves worship; not to mention truth and freedom to discuss the Bible instead of worshipping the WT(March 1, 1979 - cover article).

Anybody With Sleep Apnea?

do you use a cpap machine or did you get surgery to correct your difficulties?
do you dread having to go to sleep, with the possibility that you may never awaken?

I have sleep apnea due to psychological problems (cognitive dissonance) which caused me to drown my depression in eating binges. Almost back to normal weight since I left the Borg and hope to be off the CPAP in a year or two. The Borg was right on when they said spiritual disease can cause mental and physical disease.

The anguish on my kid's faces during the 10 minute drive to the KH for service when my ex would 'take the lead' (she always did have a problem with WT submission... can't say I blame her) by explaining what the FDS twist on the Daily Text was because before we went on the trip to Hell I'd just read the scripture and let them comment from their hearts.

Could JW's return to the "generation of 1914" teaching and still be true?
by booker-t ini was discussing the 1914 "this generation" doctrine with my jw mother the other day and she said something that made me laugh my head off.
i told her that the wts were wrong on this belief so why does she put so much faith in them.
she told me that jw's were not wrong on this believe but just back off being so dogmatic about it but that they still feel that the generation of 1914 will see the end come.

How did you brutally destroy your WT publications?
by Nosferatu inthe only wt publication i brutally destroyed was a brand new copy of the revalation book.
i was so frustrated with the religion that i ripped the goddam thing into a hundred pieces.
it was a great way to take my anger out on it.. years later when i was dating this one girl, she had a copy of that same stupid book.
