Had a return visit at the end of a cul-de-sac that I called on once or twice a month. I got the impression that they didn't want me to come back the last time I went there. The P.O's wife and I were walking back down the long driveway after going to the door and no one answered. About 1/2 way back to the car the man and his wife turned into the cul-de-sac and saw us. He gunned his big white Buick, circled the cul-de-sac and drove off with the P.O.'s wife standing there laughing at me and saying " There goes your return visit, why are they running from you?" The sisters in the car group wanted me to follow him and place some literature anyway.

Funny FS experiences
by Effervescent ini was just watching an old rerun of "the nanny" where frans mom talks about trying to put spice into her marriage by meeting her husband at the door naked.
fran makes a face and her mother says "meanwhile you'll never see jehovah's witnesses in the building again".
i remember hearing funny stories about people coming to the door naked etc, but nothing quite that interesting happened to me.

Once you get over the fear it's a party. I think the thing that helped me the most was when a 'worldy fake Christian' asked me to read Deuteronomy 18:20-22. that's all she said. Just read it. Past flip flops, failed prophecies, lack of love in the organisation all made sense then. The WTBTS is not to be feared because their god is a lie.
We'd love to have you share your story when you feel comfortable with it. It helps us who have left to hear it for more confirmation and may even help someone just lurking who is going through the same ordeal to see the WTBTS for what it really is.

Why would you want to kill the org?

I knew I should have 'waited on Jehovah' to call the JC in order instead of telling those elders the WTBTS and the GB were apostates and take me off the membership roll. Would have sounded so much better 2 days later if the annoucement had said Bob Evans has been DF'd instead of Bob Evans has DA'd himself from the CC of JW's. That way peolpe would have wondered what my unrepentant sinning was all about. As it is, they all know what it was about because I told a few R&F publishers.

by stillajwexelder inalso in the march km apart from the big front page article about awake being monthly - is a rebuke to pos to distribute kms as soon as they arrive.
i am glad about this - far too many pos are control freaks and distribute kms at last possible minute - it is almost as if they are saying - i am better than you because i get my km about 3 weeks before you do.
anyway we got our march kms last night and they were distributed immediately

Sorta like the "Keep your Eyes on the Prize" song. I played the original copyrighted Disney song (something about 'here comes the Prince') to an active JW elder the other night. He said "You still have the Kingdom Melodies, even though you are an apostate?" until he heard the notes change. then it was "Someone has taken a Kingdom Song and rearranged it, how strange." I'm still laughing about that one.
